Damn it feels great to be back on TRT!!!
Happy to finally be back on my TRT @ 100mg per week!
I don't know how the hell I survived the constant shitty symptoms for the past year,, But i had to stop until my wife became pregnant.
Got my energy and motivation back, and started a REAL exercise and diet routine!

when you went off TRT did you do any kind of PCT? obviously PCT wouldn't bring your T levels to anything higher than they were before TRT, but I'm curious.

i had been on the same 100mg per week for about 3 years,,, non stop. i didn't have plans for kids at THAT time. so when i discussed it with the doc,, he put me on clomid for about 3 months,, at 50mg daily.
at the end of 3 months clomid, a sperm test still showed slightly lower than the norm,, so he said to wait a couple more months and stop the clomid. my wife also had minor surgery for endometriosis,, which doc said may have also played a part in delaying a pregnancy.
so she became preg in March, and we waited until the second trimester to arrive without issues before i went back on the trt.
what i plan to do this time, is stop every 4 months and take clomid for 30 days,,, then resume trt for 4 months. doc suggested that in order to keep sperm levels at normal level,, in case we want another child.Last edited by bd50; 06-05-2011 at 12:23 AM. Reason: sp

Did you try getting the wifey preg while on HRT? It seems a lot of people have good luck with that. I think I would have at least tried for 6mo or more before going off, adding some HCG to the mix to help out.

well i've been on trt for over 5 years low to high doses off and on throughout with no hcg and my wife just got of bc (shot) about 6 months ago and is actually thinking about motherhood so my understanding is that i would have a hard time being a father again(3 girls already youngest 8) after being on for 5 years so gonna see wut a few loads in the vaj a week can do for a few months.... if no knocky maybe some hcg but absolutely no hurry so idk...its such and interesting science

Hmmmm well I have been on TRT for 3+ years and had the boys snipped about 5 years ago. Mine is talking about wanting one also (she is 31). I think we might be sh*t out of luck. lol. Ill just lie to her and keep practicing. Just dont let her know it doesnt work when she swallow. lol

LOL, yes and of course I though about that scenario. LOL I'm no fool, even if I'm 100% sure it's mine I will have a piece of paper with DNA results to prove it.
Yeah there is a chance it can be reversed but it has been a long time. I though it was only 5 years ago but now that I think about it it's more like 8+ years. I had a spermatocele so they had to open everything up and spread the boys out on a table, cut the spermatocele out and snip the tubes. Not sure if it can still be reversed at this point but? I'm not ready anyways so nothing to worry about.

I speak from personal experience: having kids is a young man's sport!
So if you are going to change you rmind, don't wait too long, and keep up the TRT because you will be grateful for it at the playground, when the kid wants to learn how to ride a bike and you have to jog along side of him holding the bike while he learns, and all the other things. And if you have a daughter then there is the possibility that 16 years from now you will have to be able to beat up your daughter's boyfriend when you catch him humping her on the couch!

I was snipped about 6 or 7 yrs ago. Piece of cake. Outpatient stuff. Procedure took about 20 minutes. 10 minutes per nut basically. Only pain is the needle to numb you up. Like a minor bee sting. Then sit on a bag of ice for the weekend and your good to go. Surgery friday, back to work monday. Easy. I had the nurse prop my head up so I can watch the doc, really weird to see it done to yourself, but fascinating at the same time.

The doc said it would be painful because it was not an ordinary SNIP. Typically it's just a very little cut then they go in and snip. I have a scar from the front of the ball sack to the back. They cut it open and pulled everything out. They say there are 2 parts of your body that swell when exposed to air. The brain and the balls. Either I was lucky or once again proved to my self I have a high tolerance for pain. I went to work the next day. I was out jet skiing less than 2 weeks later although after my stitches coming loose and some white fatty tissue starting to come out I decided to put of more jetskking for a couple weeks. LOL
Main reason I did it was because I felt like I got kicked in the balls about 3x a month for a few days at a time....
Yeah not a good idea to have unprotected sex either way unless it's with someone long term relationship.

My doc only cut less than a quarter inch each side. Pulled out a tube looking thing, snipped it, burned it, clipped it and put it back in. What you went through LOVBYTS sounds horrible. Doc said as long as I stayed off my feet for the weekend and iced it I'd have no problems. worked for me. he said if you were too mobile and did too much, you'd pay for it. Happenned to a buddy of mine. thought he felt fine, did too much and swelled up big time. I must admit, any sharp instruments near the boys is scary.

hahahahahaha You guys are to funny. Yeah I remember thinking the same thing but as long as I was out and I woke up with the same package I went in with no problem. I guess I'm trusting that way. LOL
Yeah mine was a lot more than a vasectomy snip. I had a spermatocele removed and vasectomy at the same time. For the spermatocele removal they have to open up everything and take it all out.

If I click that link and read it, I'll probably end up spewing my coffee all over my monitor, right after my balls jump up into my stomach. NO WAY!
