HRT - Blast
I want to read up on 'blasts' while on HRT. I did a search and didnt come up with much. I am sure it has been covered multiple times over. Can anyone point me toward some threads where I can educate myself?

I would also like to know more about this. For future use. I am too early into TRT to do it right now.

I don't remember an all-inclusive, go-to thread for blasting. I have read every thread I have come across that talks about it, and it sounds like it is the same as any other cycle, but you don't do PCT. You simply go back to your TRT dose. Easy peasy. The good news is it seems to be a great way to keep gains as we don't go through the "shutdown" phase others do when they end a cycle and need to get their body producing natural test again.

That's it in a nutshell. You run your blast for your determined time 8, 10, 12 weeks or whatever and then you return to your TRT dose. It's wise to be back on TRT for the same time as your blast, but some men just go back on TRT for 4 to 6 weeks.
You have to keep future TRT appointments in mind so that you stop a blast in enough time that your doctor will only see your TRT test levels and not your blast test levels when he/she runs your bloodwork.

I am no expert, but if you blast on a long ester, you should allow a month before getting blood work done?
I have never understood why anyone tapers for any reason. Plus, it isn't like we need to ease our bodies back into making our own Test, because even our TRT dose has us shut down, doesn't it?

For me, any time my uro changed my script we would schedule BW in 6-8 weeks. If the script stayed the same between checkups, ~3 months. Just remember, they can't force you to get BW (you can "forget" for a few weeks/months), but then again you may need to go in more or less frequently depending on how large (as in refills) your script is.

My doc wants blood work every six months or so. Same when I started. They haven't done any tweaking with my dose as my levels are good and it hasn't adversely effected any of my other levels.

BASS, let us know how you do. I just started deca @ 200mg ml on top of my normal TRT (A-gel). Waiting for some more gear to arrive (tren ) too. Joints (elbows) killing me. Wondering if it's E related as my endo does not check for it even though I've had the conversation w him. I will present some more facts to him on the next visit. Hoping he'll script me adex/hcg if I can educate him.

I will keep you informed. Gotta see the GP tomorrow for my son and I'm gonna see if he'll write me a script to check for E levels since the endo isn't interested. His quote was something to the effect of "no need to worry about it. It would just lead to more problems and more medicine." Question for you guys: I've heard conflicting statements here. Deca will or will not raise your T level as it's not testosterone ?

I too would like to get updates bass! Not to hijack this, but what are you running the deca for, and how did you come up with 14 weeks?
-

the last time i ran deca at 100 mgs for 5 weeks and loved it, it helped my joint, 80% pain reduction and staid that way, still not 100% so this is why i am running it again. the 14 weeks is due to the amount i have, i thought of doing 9 weeks at 300, but thought since this is my first blast I'll keep it light!
