Any cancer survivors here?
Hey gang,
I had Hodgkin's when I was 14. Chemo, radiation, chemo. I'm 40 now and cancer-free for 26 years.
I have recently been put on TRT. My guess is that I've been at the low end of normal for many years, possibly due to my cancer treatment. I'm a little worried about shrinking testicles because mine are kinda small to begin with, again, probably from the cancer treatment. lol.
Just wondering if there is anyone else out there in the same boat.

you can use HCG to avoid shrinkage.

Cool. I've been reading up on HCG and plan to discuss with my doc in a couple weeks.

hey brutha, I had non-hodkins t-cell lymphoma...6 years now in remission. A lot of the chemo drugs can make you sterile...don't know if that would be a testicle problem or not.

Thanks for the thread and jumper's response. After 4 years of HRT the boys have virtually disappeared. I think the HCG is a good question for next endo exam. Good Luck ol boy.

well done Stickman! and welcome to our village. my boys went half the normal size after 3 months on TRT, then started hCG and they are back about 85-90%, and still hoping to get them back 100% one day!

Don't be surprised if they don't support HCG for this. My endo doesn't. Depends on how progressive they are and in the know!

old thread, but I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Stage 2B, back in Feb of this year.. I did four months worth of chemo and 19 days of radiation. I go in next month for my ct/pet scan. Then it's a ct/pet scan every four months for the next five years.
