If your doc tweeks HRT dose, how long until re-test?

My doc wanted 6 weeks before my first blood test after starting HRT. I'm hoping to convince him to get me on once-weekly injections (instead of EOW) after my next appointment.

I'm guessing he'll want to re-test if we change anything. I'd think a month would be fine to re-check if/when we make changes. Any reason we should stick to 6 weeks between tests?

Explain to him why you want to be on weekly. Test levels rise and fall during those intervals and so does your E2, mood and health.

Does he test for E2?

You can test in a month but 6 weeks seems to be the standard.

BTW, how much are you getting injected and did you discuss the need for HCG now that you are shut down?

I'm getting 200mg EOW. I plan to discuss weekly injections, E2 and HCG in my next appointment. Thanks to this forum, I know what to ask!
