is brain fog i am having attributed to low t?
Guys I recently did a cycle and went through proper pct and my boys came back and all that jazz but now I am really suffering from some really bad "brain fog". Any of you that are on trt has this happened to you before you got therapy? It is really affecting my day to day activities as well as giving me quite a bit of anxiety. Overall i am healthy but dont feel normal if that makes sense. Thoughts?

Yes, it can definitely be related- I have heard of a few cases of this in the past and I read about some research into it a few years ago in a Harvard Med paper.

Definitely could be, I had terrible brain fog before TRT, depression too. Need to get blood work done so you know what is going on for sure, might be an easy fix, or you may need TRT, wont know till then.

You need a full and complete BW done. Any discussion now is pure conjecture.

I had no idea at the time why I was feeling worse with every month that went by.........I refer to it as the dark years, it sucked!!! I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!! After I discovered what was wrong and finally got on TRT I started thinking back and I can say with a certain degree of confidence that I had suffered those low T symptoms for about 5 years or so.......I had NO idea back then what it could be.
Get that blood panel done and post back here on this thread, it really could be a simple fix or you may need to commit to a lifetime of TRT........you'll know when you get the results.
I'm glad you're getting checked out and I hope it's a simple fix for you, either way, a blood panel is a step in the right direction.

It sounds like normal post cycle issues due to blood levels not being back to normal yet. You are not on TRT, correct? I would not start thinking automatically that you need to start TRT if you have been OK in the past. Get all the blood work done first, try another PCT if you need to or??? Try to get things back to normal without having to supplement if at all possible first.

i have battled with depression for 10 yrs now and it has been up and down with good moments but the bad always stand out most of course.I had told my doctor that i almost feel like i have dementia.
jd thanks for the words makes me feel like there is hope. Will report back once i have the results.
No i am not on trt currently but i have not been okay in the past due to some cycles i had done in my early 20s when i was uneducated and forums like these were not around to help me. I have since been on edge and very irritable with feelings of hopelessness and anxiety issues from that point on. I would just deal with it the best i could and i am not proud to say there were some bad ways i dealt with it as well for many years. That is behind me now and i want to have a better quality of life. I have been off pct for 2 plus months so i expect my levels should have been back to normal. I am talking to the dr tomorrow.
