What has HCG done for you?
I've been away from the TRT scene for a few years. While researching TRT I've noticed that a lot of docs are prescribing HCG with the TRT programs these days. Can I get some input how going from straight TRT to TRT & HCG has effect you? Or if you started HCG by itself please give me you input. Want to know how you feel and what effects HCG has had on your program. Thanks

HCG mimics LH hormone. This is produced by your pituitary to stimulate the leydig cells in your testicles. Those cells produce T, along with other hormones that your body needs. When you take T and raise your T levels beyond your body's normal level, the pituitary stops producing LH, and your leydig cells stop producing all of the hormones they normally produce. Bottom line is HCG keeps the boys active and working.
If you have low T levels because your leydig cells no longer respond to LH, then HCG won't raise your T levels my much unless you take a lot of it. If you have low T because your pituitary is not producing LH like it should, then HCG will give you a good response and you may be able to just do HCG for your protocole. Some people do it this way.
If you are going to take T, you should always use HCG too. This will keep your leydig cells producing other hormones your body needs.
For me, my testicles and sac shriveled up so much the boys were getting pinched up against my pubic bone and hurting. HCG got the boys and sac back to normal size and the pain stopped. I also had a better overal feeling from HCG, especially when I would get my AI wrong and take too much of it.Last edited by GotNoBlueMilk; 07-10-2011 at 06:29 AM.

There needs to be an Important thread here on HCG . It's a standard in a proper TRT protocol and so many guys are asking the same question over and over again.
How can we get a Mod to do this???

I'll admit I didn't do a search first and I should have. I don't mean to be repetitive.

No need to apologize. You asked a good question and you deserve a good response. My only point is that a "stickie" on HCG would help so many guys out and be more efficient to the board.
