    Test saved my marriage..

Well not really but it may just have.

Anyway im not on TRT but ive done a few cycles and currently on a long cycle now.

Ive been married 4 years just about and my sex drive has basically been crap. It was like this long before i was married but once and a while i would get the urge. My wife during our marriage has been insecure, thinking i dont want to have sex because im not attracted to her etc. I would tell her that has nothing to do with it, i just have no sex drive.

Ive had blood panels many times over the years to figure out what is wrong but everything comes back semi normal. My test is anywhere from 400-550 but my free test is always on the low range of normal.. For example if the range is 7-22 im always a 7.

I was also on propecia from 24 - 32 so i think this somehow did permanent damage.

Anyways this cycle im on which follows Ronnie Rowlands Protocol "two 8 weeks cycles with 2 week break in between them at a TRT dose."

During this cycle my sex drive feels like a normal man once again. Me and the wife are having sex once a day or more some days. Texting dirty talk sending pics etc!!! It feels great to feel normal! She right now is loving it and i think its really helped my marriage. There has been times before when we went months without having sex which is ridiculous but i just didnt care.

I tested her the other day and told her i was ending my cycle early and she just about paniced. She said she was happy and secure once in her life and now things are going to go back in the dumps.

This made me think. Should i put myself on TRT and see if this sex drive continues. Obviously at a TRT dose of 100-150 mg a week I may end up being the same vs the 500mg im on now.

but if i was to keep the sex drive on a TRT dose wouldnt you guys think this would be a wise choice to continue?

    Im 35yrs old.

I would suggest putting yourself on TRT doese for two reasons......You keep your marriage and the wife happy, plus you get the added benefit in the gym.

I am not nearly as educated as others on this site BUT If it were me I would let myself shut down so that I could get a script and get under doctor supervision, regular blood work, etc.

good question slim and glad your doing well....35 is just a year before i went on trt...

i had an idea...maybe an hrt clinic(anti aging clinic) wont make you show shut down numbers to keep you going...i'm just guessing but maybe its worth looking into?

So the doc didn't put you on TRT yet right? Do you still fall in between the "normal" range in your blood panel? I have been having the same issues lately....no libido for the last 3-4 months easy. I just don't care really and it's driving me nuts cause I am normally never like this plus I just feel all together weak, lack of energy and in a depressed state but not like depression depression.

Do it the right & legal way. Get yourslef off the test to start from a clean reference point & find a TRT Dr. that knows what they're doing to start treating you. If you have the insurance, you'd be insane not to utilize it for treatment of this condition. I'm on 200 mgs/week Test Cyp and I'm fine in both the gym & bedroom departments. You'll see a lot of people on here are on even smaller dosing and they see similar results...

Yeah I got good insurance so I would imagine I would be covered. And yes my bloods were always in the normal range. Total test was always decent but free test like i said was always on the low normal scale.

I may finish this cycle and go to a TRT clinic to get bloods. Only thing is I dont want to be going aroung with no test in my body to long. What ever muscle I gain i would like to keep somewhat lol.

Thanks for the answer. I have the same issue as you. Test is in the range of normal but I feel exactly like you. I dont know my free test all I know is just my test level and it's 400 with a range of 300-1080.

the ranges on labs are a joke, ive had problems with test over 500 and under 400, its all the same-low
you definately need to see a specialist, which are not crappy endos, as you may be able to get on somthing else instead of test
    and isnt propecia finesteride?

The question is does your insurance cover this. Clinic's can be covered because they are docs, but many insurances only cover in network or pay after you exceed your deductible. Clinics will not be in network.

Same here bro.....same here! My wife thought I was either cheating on her or just no longer interested in her prior to my TRT. Now it's all good at night and several dirty texts go on during the day. Test is my bff now. I'm with you and may be in a similar boat soon. You see I went through a clinic, just to see if this(TRT) would help, and I'm not running thru my insurance because said clinic doesn't want to give me the "codes" I need in order to file a claim to my insurance co........So if I pack up my balls and go elsewhere(doc/endo/etc) will I have to shut everything completely down(test levels) to then appease the next doc and get treated or take my test results and just move into my current protocol of 100mgs a week? I know you are self medicating but essentially we are in the same boat as we try and get insurance to pick up the tab and neither one of us wants to give up #1 booty #2 gym results.

Man thx for posting this. I also believe since I have been back on, my marriage has improved significantly, especially sexually where there was no relations at all for months at a time due to me, and its probably from cycling at 19yo.
