appt with anti aging clinic... question
im bringing bloodwork results which shows my t levels are normal to my appointment with an anti aging clinic this week, i will be sure to make note to him that i took nolva for awhile before this bloodtest.
my question is if i have all the symptoms of low t, but in my specific circumstance my bloodwork says im normal as of now, will the doctor understand that the bloodwork results are possibly distorted and put me on trt?

Not if he's a real doctor, how does he know your telling the truth? He SHOULD get another blood panel done after your system has cleared all the other drugs. Unless your test levels are on the low end of the scale, my first test was 280 but my second was 370.......first one too low second one within range but they can still put you on if its on the low end.

Regardless of what bloodwork you already have, just about every clinic is going to make you do a full blood panel anyhow. That's how they make their money.

Damn, I think a full panel for me was 200 total through lab corp.
Clinics are notoriously EASY to deal with although expensive........but they do have to follow certain protocols.....every one of those prescriptions is registered with the DEA or whatever they call themselves nowadays.........big brother knows that you pin every 5 days, and how much, doesnt that make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Yes, pin at home is the rule of the day, as far as how much....many will go up to the legal maximum, I believe it's no more than 6 months worth in the US....I think? The doses are notoriously generous though. But even at that they still MUST register all scripts for controlled substances with the feds, so even though they are quite generous with their scripts there are certain protocols that are followed to keep themselves out of prison. They can't just prescribe something because someone says they want it, there has to be some sort of proof of a condition that warrants the script.

I'm not sure if it applies to clinics (although I would guess it does), but last time I went to the pharmacy to pick up my 90 day supply, they told me as of July 1st, there was a new federal law that requires only a 30 day supply for certain prescriptions, which includes testosterone .
The good news is my copay went down for it. Bad news is it's a hassle getting refills every month and we're definitely under more scrutiny by the gov't.
