Bizarre news at my clinic.....but good?

So I go in the other day to my clinic for my weekly shot of 1/2 cc of Cyp. I get in the office and the nurse says "we need to discuss something in private". We get back there and she says the "head of the program" has chosen to change the protocol towards TRT for EVERYONE involved with the program. At first I'm thinking, well here we go, they're gonna want to pull back on the amount and if they do I'm gone! No! She says that he is increasing ALL TRT patients to either 3/4 of a cc weekly or a 1cc of Cyp every 10 days! So what do you guys think about this? I mean they are increasing...but EVERYONE!? No matter what your T#s are? I asked why and she said that out of the 20 males involved there weren't many getting increased results with the protocol they had been riding. I'm happy.....but skeptical.

Hmmmm, if you need more great! But first question that comes to my mind, "does this clinic sell the Test or write you a prescription that you fill somewhere else?"

they probably want to see more fat loss/muscle gains....100mg that you were most likely on before is a pretty normal starting dose for mainstream doctors and small dose for a clinic...i wouldnt be skeptical...but i sure as hell wouldnt want to go in everyweek for something i can do myself

The only thing that I'm skeptical of is their thought process on making the changes across the board to all participants. I mean don't get me wrong I'd load the damn syringe with as much as it would hold and inject the stuff but when you're talking about clinic procedures I would think that it would be a more personalized case by case change in protocol versus an abrubt change in everybodies meds. Kinda like "hey, lets wait until each patients blood work comes back before we make any changes" type of thing.....wouldn't most places feel this way in your eyes?

The clinic has me go in weekly and receive the shot from their nurse. The potency on the Cyp is 200mgs per c and they won't even begin to discuss any AI or HCG , hell the nurse couldn't even pronounce Cypionate when I asked her what type of Test they'd be giving me on my initial visit......she had to write out letter for letter the word Cypionate. This clinic is brand new to administering this type of therapy so AI means Allen Iverson to them and HCG?....well you get the point. JPK, I'm shopping around to find a doc that is involved in TRT in my area due to me paying the hefty sum of $230 per month. This amount also includes blood work done every 3 months and 2 B12 shots per month as well.

I would bare my ass and let them shoot me with the new dosage of 150 ml a week and quietly research other options and clinics for my treatment. You need AI and HCG .

i agree! my clinic would not give me test without AI. so i guess the new clinic is using their clients as guinea pigs!

tbh i've seen more generic test dosing like the op is stating from clinics than personalized dosing..

    a classic is we start you on 200mgEw of test, 500iu 2-3x W, AI .5mg eod...blah blah

What kind of clinic is this any way? If TRT and they won't discuss HCG and AI as part of your protocol?

Find that new Doc ASAP. If you're E2 rises, and there's a very good chance it will, all that test you are taking and paying for will do you no good at all.

good point...i was mostly caught up in the op's shock at running a generic protocol of test...i thought that was actually common for a clinic
