Timing of Workouts
I use a gel. For building muscle mass, is there any advantage to working out when test levels would be the highest, say 3 - 4 hours after application? Thanks for your response.

I don't use a gel but from everything I've read absorption is pretty consistent within the first 18 hours or so of application.
Anyone else?

I use Fortesta, the literature with the product shows test levels for 24 hours or so after application, it peaks I think around hour 4 and then decreases. This is all from memory so I could be slightly off.

Thinking of it more I don't think it really matters if you're looking for gains and peak times. Your Test levels should be pretty consistent day in day out if your applying your gel according to protocol.

My morning BW pre application has my T levels between mid 400-500's. BW 6 hrs after applications I'm mid 700-800's. Therefore, I work out at lunchtime. Getting complete bw this month pre app. Also going to get just T checked again within a week just to see where it's at 6 hrs post app while on the new 1.62%.

So, it looks like the consensus is to time workouts to test peaks if you can. Thanks.

Honestly I don't think it makes much of a difference. Your recovery time is what makes you grow, not the workout. Besides it's more important to enjoy your workout so that you will be consistent. I would recommend working out at the most convenient/enjoyable time for you, eat right, get sleep and let the T work it's magic over time.

Arizone is spot on. I just happen to work from home so it's the best time for me.
