Chrons Disease and TRT
Hello everyone, I just came onboard this forum. Glad to be here and here's a little about me and my situation...
I'm 25 years old and I've had a history of Inflammation in my small intestines since I was 19. Since then I had about two or three bad flare ups a year, and was going to different doctors and getting ridiculous diagnosis. Then when I was 22 I found a great gastro that found out that I had something in the small bowel, had plenty of endoscopies, and a colonoscopy and then a capsule endoscopy that got stuck a year ago, then surgery was performed. Surgery called small bowel resectomy, and through that Chrons was the only reason for all this. Although sick a lot, I was always athletic and never stopped living an active lifestyle. I'm on mercaptopurine 125mgs daily and pentasa for the Chron's. Sometimes I do a month of this horrible steroid called Prednisone (I'm sure a lot of you guys took or heard about it) this is only if I have a bad flare up. I heard of a lot of Chron's disease patients taking TRT for Chron's for it helps gain weight and get healthier, for the meds take the testosterone to a lower level.
Just recently I got a doctors prescription for TRT. Testosterone Cypionate 200mg weekly for 15 weeks, then 2 weeks of HCG . Then again another 15 weeks of T then 2 wks of HCG. So total of 6 months. If I start feeling that I am getting too bloated or puffy nipples I will talk to the doctor about Arimidex , which he has said that he will give me some, but only if needed.
I am happy to be here and have all y'alls opinions and help throughout my treatment.
If anyone else has Chron's and does TRT keep in touch!
Also, I shall start a thread when I start my TRT, which will be in or on around three weeks.
Thank You
God Bless

About 5 weeks in, 160lbs weighed at the gym just now. So Its working out great for me, 18 lbs in 5 weeks! Amazing!
I feel a little tired after eating and during the day might need a nap now and then, need an AI ASAP. Hope the doc calls tomorrow with the E2 results!!

8th week and 162pounds. And started taking Arimidex .5 eod been a week. So pretty much lean mass with little or no water retention!
I had problems with tender nipples when I was like 15 but seems like I don't have it anymore thanks God!! Lol
In 2 weeks I blast HCG for two weeks, with no test. 1500iu every other day. 7 injections of 1500iu each, 1cc eod.2 weeks HCG total 11.000 iu.
This is cause I'm young and want to have kids, I'm 25 yrs old.
The best way to preserve testicles is this HCG by itself in the course of two weeks.

Have you gotten blood work done recently, glad to hear its working for you...is your protocol the same?

I've done blood work around 2 months ago, I should be getting it in a month.
Everything was good at my last blood work.
I still follow same protocol.
200mg of testosterone croup ate a week, divided into two shots of 100mg. For 10 weeks then I stop testosterone and do a 2 weeks 7 injections day yes day no and so on of 1500iu each injection of HCG . I don't take HCG all the time like most do here. It seems that the two weeks of HCG blast is old school but still used by many experienced doctors...

True, I just dont understand how not injecting cyp for 2 weeks is going to do anything good for your body considering it would be still technically be in your system by the time you start injecting again.

Maybe cause of the 1500iu eod takes the test high as well?

It will stimulate test production, im just saying that going off test for 2 weeks and then going back on... whats it good for?
