Nandrolone and emotional sides
Hi all,
Just a post of curiosity really. I was taking deca for about 2 months when one weekend I was overcome with a shit storm of emotional sides. For the record, even with my E2 over 50 I never get any kind of physical sides like itchy chest, gyno, ect. But I really, really, really, feel the emotional sides of it. Aromasin nips that in the bud no problem. But for nandrolone , I don't know if it's elevated progesterone or what but I simply could not take it and had to stop (200mg/wk deca along side 100mg/wk T). Wishing it was NPP and not deca lol. I had feelings of suicide, gloom, doom, blackness, anxiety, hopelessness. Wow. I even asked my mother about progesterone and she relayed a story to me about when I was still a kid, her doctor gave her a shot of progesterone and she said she had the same exact response (so I guess the sensitivity runs in the family). It's too bad too because the deca really helped out my cuff. So I am wondering if anyone else has this emotional sensitivity (to E2, progesterone) while showing no real physical sides at the same time.

Never really got emotional on the stuff, except when I ran out
I would run some labs and double check your prolactin levels. If it's elevated, you can knock it with some caber or prami, which would promote dopamine.
Stay away from watching Old Yeller and those types of movies for the meantime.
Best of luck!

LMAO!
HitIt, i was on a blast few weeks ago 300 test/300 deca , i must say i did go thorough the same sides you've mentioned, but never attributed to deca! now that you mentioned it heck that could have been what was causing my symptoms! i am still on deca but only at 100 mgs, but no symptoms at all since i lowered the dose!

x2. Right up there with the diatribe about men taking over womens roles a couple weeks ago. Hysterical!

Hmmm. I guess emotional sides are better than growing tits or having lactating nipples but these were simply too much. Guess I'll just put the other 20ml under the sink until I figure it all out. Does prolactin directly affect mood? Do elevated prolactin levels increase progesterone? All the looking around I did about progesterone supplementation by women showed the same effects I had. Gloom and doom. Read some things about E2/progesterone dominance as well. It would be nice if something that controls prolactin could by proxy also control progesterone. Does prami or caber do this? Questions questions.

I get a little emotional when I raise my test levels until I get used to it. I'll even feel sad watching a TV commercial. If you are thinking of hurting yourself then I'd take that serious and get some help right away.

I love deca but it made me an emotional wreck also. I had every other side effect as well. I stay away from it now lol

I found that I was sensitive to prolactin, more than most people, I found some cheap cabor and took care of it right away.
As far as emotional sides.....absolutely, keep e2 in check first of all and take some cabor. I started to get deca dick also, cabor fixed that right away too.
Note: I stopped taking cabor when I stopped the deca.....mistake....deca dick came back almost immediately so I started cabor again and kept taking it for another 2 1/2 weeks........no problems.
