New Member looking for advice.

I'll lay out my history real quick so you know where I'm coming from. I'm 38yo male, 5'7, 180lbs. I'm in good phyical shape, not big by any means, but in shape. I recently starting taking shots of Test , Cypionate 2,000mg/10ml. that was subscribed to me from my doctor for low T . I took 1cc a week for about 5 weeks, 1 1/2cc for 4weeks, and back to 1cc last week. I've been drinking plenty of protein and have seen a really good increase in my workouts and body. (First time I've ever taking a steriod ).
My questions is, how long should I continue taking the shots without taking a break for a few weeks or month? I've noticed some shrinkage in testicals, but have been told thats completly normal.
And what should I take when I come off the shots? How long should I stay off? etc.
Any help will be appreciated. I'm not looking to bulk way up, just want to keep having good strong workouts. I'm not against adding size at all, I've been happy with my gains so far, just saying I'm not looking for massive gains. Again thanks

Talk to your doctor about HCG . Sounds like you're secondary hypo since you noticed the shrinkage after you started taking shots. Yes, it's normal, but that doesn't mean that you have to settle with it.

Most people on TRT never come off the shots. Some doctors will run a protocol where a patient comes off for a month or so, and ramps up on HCG to increase endogenous production. I had a doctor that did it that way. However, my current doctor/clinic, and most others will have you run it continuously. You should run labs after your first 6 weeks, then every 3 months (IMO) thereafter. If you add HCG, you may need to adjust your dosages to keep your serum levels optimal.

If you really want to make this successful, start out with reading the forum stickies thoroughly! You will get up to speed in no time. AND, don't overlook the estrogen sides. Some doctors won't even acknowledge this subject, maybe yours does or doesn't. Regardless, monitor it with your other labs, and keep some AI on hand.

Did you self inject? Because im calculating 2400mg that you did. So if he gave you 2000mg/10 ml something doesnt add up. And yes shrunken testicles is normal but using hcg at the same time prevents this. Replacement therapy for low t doesn't stop no cycling. Sounds like you did a cycle and if that's the case read into the pct forum and get some ideas. You'll probably read about clomid and tamoxifen taken for about 4 weeks.

I would gather that the OP is taking 200mg/ml shots. 1cc should = 1ml. Also presuming that this is not a cycling situation since there's mention of a doctor's prescription ("subscription").

Oh just was confused cause he took 1cc for a few weeks then 1.5 cc for a few more then his last on was 1cc again. Then stopped, a trt doc wouldn't stop the treatment unless he was cured. But I'm new and maybe confused.

keepin it real though he never stated what the doctor told him...he only stated what he injected...interesting way of telling us the dose of the test by calculating the whole 10ml vial...must be new school i reckon

Thanks guys. and to clear it up I went to ageless mens health first, had two shots there. But since I had to pay 20 copay per visit, I said F that and saw my doctor. And she did tell me to due 1cc per week, I went up to 1 1/2 on my own for a few weeeks. Probably not smart unitl I know what i;m doing. I'll read up more and thanks again.

And yes I did self inject. They orginally wrote me a script for 3 vials of what i mentioned. They then called back 2 days later and told me I was at the high end and she wanted me to come back in for another test. I went ahead and finished what I had. Maybe have 1 shot left or close to it. And I'm planning on going back in a few weeks to retest.

I have a more fundamental question; what were you diagnosed with to start a TRT protocol in the first place.

No one spoke to you about hCG and controlling E2 with an AI???

No mention of hcg at the time. Now I've finished my first bottle of 2000/10ml. and i'm going to scheldule a visit, should i hold off a couple weeks or how long to make sure my test is low
