Androlgel seems to be working (at least i get the same side effects as before)
On the side effects i get pain in the body, numbness in hands and feet that come and go. Weird feeling because i recall having the same side effects when i was on my first cycle 12 years ago, and the dosage where a lot higher then a simple gel?????
I still want to switch to injections i have not changed my mind on this but i will finish my monthly gel after all i paid for it, not sure if 1 month would be enough to go for a blood test and see a difference.
I noticed also that i have a lot more appetite which is dangerous for me. Too soon to see any strength gains or fat loss.
I guess androgel is powerful stuff even for a gel.

I am not sure why there would be numbness when using test. I've never experienced it, and have never heard of this as a side. Maybe some one else knows something about this.
Did you get a blood test prior to using the gel? I've really never used the gel, but always assumed it wasn't very effective, since less than 50% gets absorbed into the blood stream.
The dose for gels is usually fairly low as well.
I'm not sure, but i think i may have missed your question here?

I cant say I ever remember getting tingling fingers or feet from Gel or injectable TRT either. Sounds more like something pinched or out of whack with your back. LOL
I dont think anyone here has had more than adequate/normal levels using Gel. Most have had to use more than the little gel packs and get on the pump using 2 or even 3 pumps to get up to normal or high normal levels.

If your paying out of pocket I would not even glance at Agel. Is it the 1% or new 1.62% gel your currently using? Referring to BW if you mean checking levels while on agel, 14 days is more than sufficient to check and adjust. The 1.62 works awesome for me so far. My .02.....

Complete blood test where done prior to androgel . Today i am fine, so i guess it was just a side effect. I had this before like i said. I still have issues with my back but they are getting better.
I am using the 1.62 version, its been around a week or so on it. I do feel more energy so something must be happening.

you could be right. maybe. Or it could be the placebo effect. Test usually takes a while for you to notice the effects. But i could be wrong. Just my opinion.
I remember my first testosterone injection. Excitedly I went home and hit the weights. Surprisingly, it was one of my better efforts. Then I realized that test cyp can take up to two weeks before you notice anything.
Maybe the gels are fast acting?

My script is for 6 pumps per day of the 1.62 gel. Insert says each pump is 20.25mg of T. My trough level when tested first thing in the a.m. 24hrs after application is a little over 700. I have not checked mid-day yet to see where it's getting me up to since switching to the 1.62 but I will. Literature also says if coming off gel it takes 5 days to return to a normal level, so maybe the reverse is 5 days to level up when starting out? Then again, people absorb at different rates....

I am going back on November 2 and he better have my test results then, if he doesn't i am going private to get the test done, i will get the results sent to me 24h later they even email them to you and your doctor at the same time.
I need to know where i stand. I really want the weight loss benefits that comes with TRT and the extra energy too. I want to get the best T level i can so my body can repair itself and be cured of that damn ligament laxity that as been plaguing me for 10 years now. PRP seems to be working good but if i can get everything going fine again its going to be great.
Yesterday at my job i tried to chin myself up a bar, i suck, i really suck, i could barely lift myself once and struggled to get to the top. So my strength still sucks. I also remember when training i had a decent bench press 220 pounds 8 times last time i trained i was barely able to pull off 135 pounds for 5 reps.
Something is wrong. DB pressing i was pretty strong i was able to get the 75 pounds and do a good set of 8, now i struggle at 40 pounds.
Its not normal for a 39 year old to struggle like that, ok i am not in my 20 anymore but still.....

those gains will grow bro...
when u stop lifting your body gets soft and weak but muscle memory will aid...
be a little patient...work hard but pace your self...set small goals...feeling better first....
slow wins the race

thanks guys i will probably never lift as heavy as i used too but that is cool with me, as long as fat drops and i can rebuild a good shape, no need to lift extra heavy for that.
BTW the gel i have is not in pump its a pouch small, 5g. My medical doctor told me that after a week i should feel better mood wise. But the reste is up in the air. Until i finish PRP i won't be able to lift any weight. Also TRT will help in muscle recovery another thing that as been going downward spiral since this summer. I went for a bike ride 2 hours yeah there was some wind and some hills ups and down, my legs, calves, lower back where sore for 2 weeks?
Not sure if this is a sign of low test level or not.

I will post back on Nov 2 after i talk to my medical doctor, i also told me about stomach injection (not sure if he meant HGH), that would be good too because it works wonders along PRP, and my body would be in repair mode 100%.
Like i said i will speak to him about everything the injections, if he can prescribe needles, how to inject, how often, the dosage and more. Nov 2 everything will be crystal clear.

My family doctor used to prescribe Testosterone injections to his patients but can no longer due to the threats from the DEA telling him that if he continued to prescribe the shots that they could do a surprise inspection and if all his paper work was not in order they would shut down his practice over it. So he now only prescribes Androgel and Testim. He told me this personally when I asked him if he prescribed shots for patients with low T. And he said he couldn't afford to be idled over the few who he treats for low-t when most of his patients were suffering from other things. Talk about strong arming the doctors over BS. And what is insane is that both the Gel and the shots are both schedule lll drugs. this is why one needs to go to a specialist..(Endo) to get shots prescribed, unless you have a Doc who doesn't scare easily...The feds are taking steroid abuse to a whole new level but yet you can go to any doc and get a script for opiods all day long, which by the way, most are schedule ll drugs which is an even higher tighter category.. Go figure....

I live in Canada, and my medical doctor offered me the injections, i refused and took the gel, he also offered pills but i don't take orals when it comes to steroids to hard on the liver. Not sure where the law stands in Canada for steroids and prescription right now. He as been putting men on TRT for the last 10 years without any issues.
Lets hope for the best.

It is quite sad to see the world today as turned out in a money making industry machine, almost if not all profession are geared to make money by only removing some of the symptoms and never curing the cause, i have sooo much experience in this being a back pain sufferer for 10 years now. I am blessed that i found my current medical doctor and prolotherapy. Because no chiro, osteo, massage threapist PT, physio and more never got to the level that my medical doctor did, simple they give simple treatments if it does not work they dont care they just keep you coming back every week until you get mad. There is a huge smile on there face when you tell them that you have insurance, they will drain you to your last drop of money. They are also expert at finding ways to encourage you when you are depressed and down, they always have an answer to your problem. My mother as a normal cholesterol level her doctor gave her lipitor for prevention, she had the brain to not take the pill because it as terrible side effects. I know that most medical doctor are encourage to push gel when it comes to TRT. I cannot comment on its effectiveness because i am a noob into this mather and its way to early to tell about the effect of the gel. But i have heard mixed reviews on it by regular joes like you and me, most people say gel is a waste of time, some say they dropped weight bodyfat and gained muscles. All in all its just sad because theses so called professional are paid to push products, and they don't suffer then pain that most people suffer each day.

The FDA would rather push things like Cholesterol medicines with Statin that destroy muscle tissue but make much more $$$ for them. Between Cholesterol meds, Anti depressants and pain meds I think it's just another game the same as Oil and taxes, all government controlled due to $$$.
Why cure a disease when you can get rich controlling it?

Holly cow this gel is for real........ after nearly 2 weeks on it, started October 19th i woke up today with a huge erection ( and i tought i did not have problems) LOL and a tone of energy. What can i say i was a sceptic and now i am slowly turning into a beleiver, my muscle pains are a little better too, lets see where that will lead in the long run. To be very honest looking at how things are turning i am sure that i have been on the low T side for a very long time. My medical doctor is a true master of making people feel better, blessed that i found him after 10 years of pain.

This summer i went for a bike ride 2 hours, there is a huge trail near my house that leads into the mountain, after that ride, there was wind and yes i struggled a few times to climb up the hills and stuff, i was sore in the whole lower body, my legs no matter how much i stretched them where still giving me pain. I went to a trigger point specialist and he told me that it was scare tissue. You know what each time you lift weight it causes scar tissue because scare tissue is what breaking and repairing muscles does. The more and more i look at my symptoms the more and more i think my low testosterone may have caused this. I used to lift weights in my basement, and took no xplode before training, when training i had energy, nothing out of this world but good energy, the last few times i was struggling to finish my workouts and my lifts where really not that good, after my training i was drained, i went back to bed, even worst when the effect of the no xplode wore off. Everything is coming clearer now, also problem losing weight even if calorie level are around 2000 per day and more.
