    TRT and symptoms

Ok how many of us are on TRT for symptoms only ?..Not test levels

As i think doctors should go on the symptoms more than the test levels ..

I certainly went on because of symptoms. Low energy, mid afternoon crashes, depression, no interest in sex, weak to no erections etc... TRT has helped me in all areas. I still am not at optimum levels yet but I am working with doctor on it...

My medical doctor put me on TRT even if he did not have my testosterone test results.

I had low energy, a bit of depression, and my muscles seemed to not repair themeselve or at least recuperation wise. I went for a bike ride this summer, and my leg muscles where simply not healing, i had to go to a trigger point specialist to break up the scar tissue, which is not normal. Also i had limited results with my prolotherapy treatments, and some muscles spasm that i tought where related to my ligament laxity.

I am not sure that muscle pain is related to low T level but many here told me they had them.

For sex, i never lost interest, and my erections are still very hard. So my guess is that everyone might have different symptoms. I also had light anemia.

The problem with the symptoms is that they mirror a bunch of other causes other than just low T. You can feel the same with lyme. You can feel the same with thyroid issues.

Agreed that is why people need complete blood work with thyroid level and T level

For me thyroid was fine, b12 was twice the normal amount? must be the meat i been eating, but i was light anemic? go figure.

So my complete blood test came back normal a part from T and light anemia
