    pituitary gland

    Hi has any one had a problem with your pituitary gland while on TRT and not before ?

    Im asking as my endo says TRT will screw it up one day .

    If he said "it could screw it up one day"...did you ask why?

    Yes he said cuz of too much test going in, and will shut me down completely (as my natural test level is at normal level and the extra is flooding my body ) 15 is my normal level as from 1 year ago. 33 with 100mg 2 months ago..

    He's right.

    But the Hypothalamus is shut down which in turn shuts down the Pituitary which shuts down your Testicles = HPT Axis.

    Totally normal when exogenous Test is used in a protocol.

    No, the Doc is right.

    HPTA suppression involves the Hypothalamus, Pituitary and Testicular glands.

    It's why we need hCG along with DHEA and Preg to make up what these glands stop producing.

    my endo say they only give test or HCG not both and only give a AI if the E2 is alot higher than mine was.. They say its uk guidelines.. hmmm go figure that one..lol

    Could you elaborate some more on taking DHEA and Preg. Ive never heard this before. thanks
