    Normal V Normal high

Ok for people that have been on TRT for a long time and know all the effects .

Would you say it has more health benefits running normal high free test..EG (near top of guideline limits) or normal levels according to guidelines of your age.

To me i would think normal high would be best .

i ran 200 mgs ew and my levels on the day before next injection were way above the scale, for example last blood work at 200 ew my test level was 1500 and my free was way above the normal, can't remember exactly. and as you know now i am on 120 mgs ew and so far i feel better than when i was on 200, but i only been at this low dose for about 4 weeks and not sure if at some point will start feeling sluggish, but so far so good. also i tend to believe that everyone is different, so you really have to go with how you feel more than looking at numbers.

Iv found that running at 80mg every 6 days works the best for me @ a level of 33 free test(Which puts me just under top level of max for my age). Done the 200mg and 150mg even 50mg every week and was no where near as good as im on now.

I too think it should not be a number game but a how you feel , pity docs dont agree .

There was a link to a study in this forum somewhere (I really wish I could locate that study again) that showed for health considerations, optimal testosterone and E2 levels were in the 3rd quintile. So if you take the overall range, divide that by five, the best level for health is in the range that is the third one from the bottom. If memory serves me, for E2 that is the 25 range, and total testosterone is in the 600 range.

If anyone can find the thread in this forum, can you link the thread in here? Hopefully the guy who posted it at least knows where it is and is reads this. It may have been a study quoted in an LEF article.

I've read quite a bit and it seems that running in the upper 1/3rd of 21 year old levels is ideal as long as you feel good at that level.

Running mid level E2 ~ 20-25 pg/ml is ideal for most.

I like me T around 750-800 any more and the estro really starts to kick in but at that amount it puts my free T a little over the top. It seems most the guys look to keep at the upper level and E below 30
