Positive results for me from this forum.

I was having issues with roller-coastering physically and emotionally. I took suggestions from this site despite my Doc saying he did not advise it at all and even told me not to do it. I went from a shot every other week to one every three days. I lowered the dose fractionally as well...from 300mgs e2w to 200mgs e2w but divided that amount into injections of two per week or each Thursday and Sunday. Since the change I quickly saw all my symptoms disappear. I'm steady as can be and finally after a long time being told I was crazy or wrong or something else, I am the person I use to be. Thanks for the advice. It's been huge!

Couple questions, are there any known problems from small dose shots twice a week vs every two weeks. Beyond the need to rotate sites more...

My doctor says don't do it, but has no reason for me for saying that.

Are there any real concerns? Could doing this cause the medicine to become in affective over time...resistant?

Awesome! There is one major concern; your doc. may need to reevaluate his arrogance .

Great questions NP, I believe the consensus among the guys is either once a week or twice a week shots, I was prescribed 2x a week from the start and have had great results and good people to work with, That said many of the guys have lots of problems getting proper testing and prescribing and turn to this forum for answers. I would continue injecting 2x a week if your feeling steady and don't mind pinning. After 2 years of being treated it's just one of those things I do in the morning, actually look forward to Tuesday and Friday am.

I've had no problem with it becoming less effective in 2 years, but as we age further there may come a time to increase the dosage as needed to maintain.

A few of the other guys have been on TRT a lot longer maybe one will chime in

I inject twice a week. I switched to once a week for a while and my E2 went up. I don't have any other real problems injecting once a week, but I am sticking with what works.

If anyone has anything negative to report, i'd like to hear it. I don't want to have missed a major reason...or even a minor one...that my doctor can say to me for why it's unsafe.

I suspect he'll say that I'm overlapping the half life and that is wrong... I really don't know. I just expect that he'll say he won't support me doing this. It's not in the kaiser protocol...,bla bla.

If anyone is willing to say they are with Kaiser and is injecting twice a week I'd really like to know

Overlapping the half life? If anything he should like it more since you not be as super physiologic for as long of a period and then sub physiologic at the end.

As testament; I've been injecting Test Cyp 60 mg twice a week for more then three years (started at once a week) and had no problems what so ever. At a total of 120 mg a week and 1 mg of Anastorzol (split twice a week at .5 mg 12 hours after injection) and my E2 on last pull was 22.6 pg/ml

As noted, I am a big believer in smaller doses more frequently...controls all levels much better in my opinion (but no research to substantiate).

You're right kel, most likely not and he's writing for the drug...it amazes me how they don't even do some basic research on a drug before they just prescribe it.

    Responding to JPKman...

Honestly, I did that (weekly) for three weeks between the 1 e2w and twice a week. I roller coastered less, but more frequently. For me it's starts at day 5-6. I get squirrelly mentally and get a bunch of wierd physical thing going on. It can get really bad. I've never been depressed or had social anexiety in my life, but I have after day 5-6 ever since I started this. It got so bad I considered suicide while in the moments. I don't think I'd ever have acted on it but it got scary...and the dr kept saying its not testosterone . Your crazy...sent me to Kaiser mental health. They put me on several drugs none of which worked and just distracted me from the real issue...the issue I thought it was all along.

Listen to your body and don't let doctors tell you your wrong. I was right and am pissed, tempted to sued for losing two years, but I doubt there's a case.

So how out of date is my Doctor. He just started using Free test as the best test. The response to estrogen conversion...that only happens to juicers. Still believe normal range for me a 44 year old is less than 155 free. I've tested in my last two tests on day just prior to next injection at 219 and 181. Total scores were 712 and 679 respectively.

They want total under 500 and to be under 155 on free. Are these too conservative? I did my own Estrodil and it scored 28. Is that good? It is in center of normal range.

Without ranges pretty hard for the guys to respond to your question.

    Sorry...

For free the letters are pg/ml and range is 35-155. Total is ng/dl and range is 250-1100, but they want me at 500 or less for total and less than 155 for free.
