Any thoughts about my recent lab results?

    T3 Free: 3.3 range 1.8-4.6 pg/ml
    T4 Free: 1.27 range 0.9-1.7 ng/dl
    TSH: 7.520 range .27-4.2 ulu/ml

    Estradiol: 26.2 range 7.6-42.6 pg/ml

    DHEA: 516 range 160-449 ug/dl
    Test Total: 695 range 280-1100 ng/dl
    SHBG: 12 range 10-80 nmol/L
    Test Free: 40.54 range 1.9-27 ng/dl

I post up my labs because I'm wondering a couple things. First, any ideas as to why my free T is so high? Second, I have had pretty bad joint pain in my elbow and hands lately which I thought might of been caused by my E2 being out of wack, but my numbers look good. Could anything else be causing my pain besides old age? Lastly, I know my TSH is high and I am on thyroid medication. I can usually tell when my thyroid is giving me trouble and even though my numbers show that I need my TSH to be less I feel like I'm happy with my current medication and don't need any additional meds.

I bring all this up because I have an appointment with my doc in a couple days and I always like to hear what you guys think before I meet with my doc. Any advice or input is well appreciated.

test and e2 numbers look good to me...the free is high because your shooting test and its working....from what i've seen is that number will usually be above the high range when on a decent trt protocol...where your numbers are look real good to me...

i have similar pains in the SAME areas bro...i lift fairly heavy in the gym and i feel as if i have to massage my hands/thumbs/sometimes wrists which i believe to be from gripping...i should probably be supplementing with fish oils and maybe some msm/chondroitin but i just deal

thyroid i dont know enough to comment especially while your on thy meds

Ok, so you have a Thyroid problem (that TSH assay is amazing, the meds working?) and taking med; possible link?

    High Free Testosteron:

    SHBG levels?
    DHT level?
    Albumin level?

IMO, forget Total Test at this point as Free Test is what you should use for measurement. Lower Test dosage will bring the Free Test into optimal range assuming nothing else is wrong with the levels above.

I take 120mg every week and .5 AI on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Test shot is on Thursday. I also take 50mg every day of DHEA.

Well, as far as the thyroid assay goes, in the past my TSH would be normal, but I felt like total garbage on previous meds. It is really strange.
I did post my SHBG but not the other two you mentioned because they weren't tested.

Sorry man, missed the SHBG assay. It's very low, almost at the bottom of the serum reference range. That very well could be one reason for the higher Free T...less binding happening.

SHBG is best at the middle of the reference range.

GD, my clinic told me SHBG the lower the better! what happens if there is less binding?
