Needleittle assistance :)
hey guys.. well i took first inject for trt this past tuesday.. doc set me at 300mg test cyp every 2 weeks.. well me being the smart guy i am (kidding) broke it into weekly doses at 150mg/week.. upon further reflection have decided to go a step further and do 75mg E3.5days..
now its time to order needles.. i thought id get some for quad and delts... was looking in AAS forum and some of the guys there said they had the most trouble with injects to the quad.. was wondering if thats the same for yall??
currently i have 3ml 25g 1.5" for butt
since 75mg is like .375 ml i figd id need to switch to maybe 1 ml syringes..
my question is what do yall recommend size wise for delts? and quads? i was thinking 25g 1" for quad and maybe 25g 5/8" for delt?? im trying to look at this website to order but its kind of all over the place.. i thought instead of browsing maybe itd be better if i knew what to look for..
if i ordered extra tips(dont know what theyre called) so i would have a bigger one to draw and a smaller one to push are they all interchangeable regardless of length and gauge??
will i lose some test by switching tips???
also i assume with the drawing needle i should still discard after each use to keep the rubber stopper thing sterile rite??
sorry bout all the questions..they keep popping up... just wanna be covered...
also i wondered if maybe 25g was bigger than i needed for the delt and/or quad... any and all feedback appreciated thx

i draw with 18ga
i inject with 23ga x 1" 2x/week @ 40mg/dose test cyp
i do this for all.... quads (most tender), gluts and shoulder
yes, you may lose some test by switching tips, but if you pull the plunger down a bit and draw in some air before switching tips, your loss will be minimized.
needles are cheap. discard after each use. i sometimes will use my 18ga to draw for multiple injection sites at same session, but discard after each session

thx man..
do all the tips interchange regardless of gauge and length??
i didnt think about prefilling needles for multiple days ahead of time..good idea.. they wont go bad or there arent any probs to look out for with prefilling??

no no no... never prefil! you lose the integrity of a sterile environment. What i meant is that I may do multiple injections in a single session (1ml to a left shoulder, and 1ml to a right shoulder... if I'm blasting). in this case, i may use the same 18ga needle to draw for both injections.
there are two types of tips. Friction or push on, and a screw on. I use the friction type here in afghanistan, and my endo Kaiser doc gives me the screw on type. they are not interchangeable
now if i have a friction 18ga and a friction 23ga, then yes, they are interchangeable. same with the screw on type.
sorry about the confusion earlier

is a tip and a "hypodermic needle only" the same thing?

needle is one thing, syringe another.
sounds like a tip would be the same thing as a needle

25g is (IMO) the best way to go on IM injections. If you do quads, 25g x 1" is perfect. Pin in the lower/mid, outer side of the quad. 25g x 1-1/2" is great for the glutes. Aim for the upper/outer region when pinning glutes. Don't forget to aspirate before injecting.

been using 23guage 3ml 1 1/2 in glutes for 6 years no where else but cheek
and aspirate every time..never got blood but still do...takes a half second

the main prob i have is i wanna inject 2x/week which means i need to inject .375ml each time.. that 3ml syringe is a little big to accurately measure out .375ml.. thought 1ml syringe would be better.. and i didnt see a 1ml syringe on the website offering a 1.5" or 1" needle.. thought about calling endo office and telling them im gonna inject 2x/week but didnt know how theyd take it considering he prescribed me to go 1x/2weeks.. what do yall think.. i mean im splitting the dose accordingly so would he care?? really i dont care if he does but no need to call if they wont prescribe the proper needles...thought id switch up maybe 25g 1.5" glutes, 25g 1" quad, 25g 5/8" delts... all using 1ml syringe.. anybody got any suggestions where i could get all that? i dont know if if can ask or not (if not then just chastise me )

I see your point. I went from 100mg/week cyp at home to 80mg/week enth here, then went home on vacation, and had blood panels taken. Surprisingly, free test went up! So I told my doc that the 3ml plunger is not accurate enough. I only use the 1ml plunger now, and have improved accuracy.
