Anyone doing the 200 mg bi-weekly TRT protocol?
What's up guys,,,
so My RX is for 100mg test per week,, but I often miss the 7 day mark due to work and family, scheduling etc., and obviously i start feeling like shiit at around day 9 or 10.
I'm Gonna try to do 200 every 2 weeks and see how i feel during the 2 week period.
Anyone else doing the 200 bi-weekly and feeling ok for most of the 14 days??

Half life of test is around 7 days and starts to drop around day 5 some people don't notice a drop after 5 days but some do, but after 14 days you will feel like shit.
Just pin once a week like you should, we all have life to deal with, I personally schedule all my TRT meds on the calendar app on my droid, I check it every day and also set alarm reminders, if I miss it's usually only an hour or two late.

test cyp has an active life of between 15 and 16 days. This means that although your blood serum levels will be stable on a daily basis, over a two week period, they will not be. Your blood serum level will peak somewhere around the end of the week, and then slowly decline. So this could effect your mood to a certain extent.
When I first started trt, I was 200mg/eow test c, and I really didn't notice too much difference between that and when i split the dose in half, taking every week. But it could be different for you. You can try eow and see how that goes, and if you are like me and don't notice too much difference, then viola! You are g2g.
Now, having said all that, you did NOT mention which type of test you are taking. I am assuming either c or e, am I correct?

agree with all above and think times explained it well especially making it point towards you trying and seeing whats best for yourself
but you kind of answered your own question in that regard if you truly feel like shit day 9/10, no?

I was started at 200mg. every 2 weeks. Seems to be standard practice for the doctors who don't know TRT all that well. Did feel the let down just after one week had elapsed. I think the doctor then put me on a 10 day injection routine, which I then changed on my own to weekly, and then 2 shots per week. I would not want to be on the 2 week interval unless there was not other choice.

I was on 200mg eow when I first started, when I would draw blood for testing just prior to the next shot my levels were always lower than my baseline with any repla***ent therapy. I would just as soon be off TRT than do it eow.

Interesting that you can't fit something into your schedule that only takes one minute. You better not tell me you watch three hours of Dancing With The Stars every week.
I am interested to hear how your stretched out schedule goes. I do the opposite and inject twice a week. I always feel great and it seems to keep my E2 lower since it cuts my dose in half. I am on 200mg/week (so 100mg every 3.5 days).

You can preload your test when you have time. Preload a Month's worth and stash them in the bathroom and inject after a hot shower.

Thanks for the input guys. And it takes me about 7.4 minutes for the whole thing, including cleaning up the bathroom counter, but I get your point lol. I will post up how the 14 day protocol works for me when the next dose is due.
Btw I am on Test C.
Stay safe!

I have to agree with the what the guys said on this one.
I too started out on the eow and it just did not last I was up and down..So now I am on 60mg every 3.5days(120mg per week) and feel fantastic.I also believe this helps keep my e2 in check as JohnnyV has also stated.

What JohnnyV and JPK said
I inject 2x a week takes a whole minute and the ride is smooth.

i believe so to! once you take the syringe out of the sterilized packet its no long protected. so you have few minutes to get the job done then its open for contamination. ive seen people do it for hCG diet, but really i think they're taking a risk.

I went from 200 eow to 100ew... And the difference was incredible until my body got used to it... THat was no hcg or adew... Now I'm pinning 40e4d and .5adex day after shot and 200Iu hcg daily.... By far the best I've felt, best I've slept, best I've Frigged. Please keep up posted on your switch, I hope it works well for you!
I actually did pre load one shot a week in advance... Left my pull needle on it while it was in transit til I got there (flew, so I just shipped myself a care package
I wasn't missing my shot!) Then opened my clean injection needle and took it out of it's package and pinned with it. I didn't have a problem with it, it never even crossed my mind actually.

LOL! and and what do we do when we cut our selves with knives, smash our thumb with the hammer, step on a rusty nail, etc... we simply wash it with soup and put a band-aid on it. but when it comes to sticking a hair size needle we bleach the counter, sanitize our hands and feet, wipe everything with alcohol, twice! and have the phone near by in case we need to call 911!

update:
i've been doing the 200mg test cyp every 2 weeks and it's been AWESOME. I don't feel any low symptoms at all, as it gets near the 14 days. i will be keeping this protocol for now, just the 2 shots per month.
feels great the first week, then slowly just cruise until the next shot,, working good for me.
good luck bros

I don't know your complete protocol (HCG , AI ??) but one thought I had was you could stay with the 2-week schedule and then 'throw in' some HCG (250-500 IU per injection) whenever you had a spare moment or two.
A good time for the HCG would be as you near the end of the 2 week period.
And, yeah, good luck - you're doing the "classic" approach, so it should work more often than guys report it.

x2. TRT requires a lot of personal responsibility. If I'm not willing to follow the most optimal protocol to stay healthy then what's the point of it all? Besides, once you get a routine schedule down, it becomes hard to deviate. I do e4d shots. The only times I might miss a date is due to an extended business trip. Once while traveling in Europe I started feeling a difference @ Day 7-8 without a dose. Then again, I guess everyone's needs are different...
