Need TRT Protocol Advice
I am seeing a doctor on Monday and am going to request to be put on Test Cyp injections. My question is which dosing protocol would provide the most stable blood levels? 1) 100mg Once Weekly 2) 100mg Split dose 50mg twice a week 3) 100mg One shot every 5th day
Also the doctor I'm seeing has a A4M anti-aging certification. Does anyone know what protocol they follow? Thanks

of course the 100 mgs every 5 days would give you the most volume, but is it the best? thats yet to me seen. make sure you discuss AI and hCG as well. i am assuming you're doing a complete blood work! post the results here when you get them.

I would ask for 100mg injected on Monday then 250iu of HCG on Sat. and Sun. along w/ your AI.

Should I see we're the test puts my levels first before adding HCG & AI? Is an AI always needed at 100mg a week?

AI Always? No
Do you want to have an AI handy? Yes
I have to use an AI with 40 mg done 2x/week or I get gyno symptoms. Your need is based on how much T you convert to E2 and how sensitive you are to E2. I convert little, but I get gyno at E2 levels of 28.
Regarding starting HCG after you see where you test levels are, this is not really productive. Keep in mind that if HCG raises your T levels more, then that is part of your protocol and you need to consider it as a whole. HCG may also raise your requirements for an AI. So waiting a month or two before starting HCG just means your pre-HCG bloodwork is no longer accurate after starting HCG. You will also have to readjust everything after you start HCG.
Not everyone needs HCG, so I have heard. If your testicles don't shrink then your pituitary is still producing enough LH to keep you from being HTPA shutdown. This is not a common situation, but it not unheard of, especially at low-end T doses. If your baseline LH values are are above midrange, you are a canidate for this situation. So by not immediately starting HCG you have the opportunity to see where you fall and if you need HCG. You most likely will need HCG, but you will know for sure if you wait.
So there is some knowledge, you need to decide.

imo
direct answer to stable would be twice a week...not sure how many people do bloodwork twice in a week to make it official but it would seem this method there would rarely be a "trough" because your injecting when test levels should be close to peaking...

Good luck with the DR. and be assertive, ask all the questions and be sure to get proper blood work. Should I say demand proper blood work!!
