LH level's
Fella's, learning so much from you all, what a blessing this forum is. My numbers have all been posted and reviewd, and concensus was 200 cyp per wk was too much. Reluctantly, but intellegently, I have lowered the dose to 150, after next blood work if levels still above ref range we'll take it down to 100-120.
Question, my original LH before TRT was 4.1 (1.7-8.6) now after basically 10 months of TRT (2 month break in summer)after 10 wks back on my LH is coming in <0.2 (1.5-9.3) both these ranges are mIU/ml. I use 1000IU Hcg EW, 2 500 shots starting 2 days prior to shoot. Is this the test you would look at and say a person is "totally shut down"??
When I brought this up to the clinic, typical response "Dr reviewed it, nothing to worry about". thoughts please??
Lastly, any merit to injectable Vit B12, have no defiecency here, are they just trying to pedal product??
thanks

Yes, the low LH is the result of administering Test Cyp over the last 10 months. This is what happens. Did you know this going in? The HCG is taking the place of this & will keep your gonads working though. Regarding B12, some here swear by it. I didnt feel any benefit myself...

Unfortunetly alot I didnt know going in, I have come to grips with what I have done and has consequences and will now im sure be a "lifer". Is this permanent "damage" or is that what is referred to as "restart" getting your baseline back after PCT and a prolonged amount of time?

Yep, it's now a life-long commitment. It's unlikely you could stop TRT now & restart it naturally with any great success, but so what? If done correctly, your life should actually improve dramatically no? Small price to pay IMO, but you have to work TRT correctly. For example, I recently went to a gathering of High School friends at a restaurant. We haven’t seen each other in 20+ years. A few guys were in decent shape, but most were horrible looking. Walking heart-attacks with nothing but problems. Pretty sad it was actually. So if you follow your protocol, eat healthy & work out - you'll feel & look great and have a good life. I am. My thoughts anyway...

Well you are dead on balls accurate there!! Im 43, always room for improvement on the diet and nutrition, but work out daily and take pride in my physical appearence. You are right walking heart attacts, and all sorts of other health related problem, no thanks, it is small price to pay! Thanks for the uplifting words, agreed the key is to work it (TRT) correctly.

On the B12 ... Best route is to first run a lab and see where you are at. My first lab a few years ago was in the tank, so I quickly discovered its potential. There are two (2) versions, cynacobalamin and methylcobalamin. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more to get the methylcobalamin. It is naturally found in plant and animal tissue, and my experiencies with it were much more favorable compared to the synthesized cyanocobalamin version of B12, which as its name implies, carries a cyanide molecule. Nothing at a scale to harm you, but regardless, something I don't need lurking in my body.

before i started TRT i always had this thought that one day I'll get off TRT and do PCT, but now almost a year into it PCT is out of the question not because its too late but because i would never want to go back to where i was before TRT. shut down was the scariest thing before TRT, but now the scariest thing is if i can't get the treatment! we have to accept that we are shut down and can never get back to our base line, rather focus on moving forward and don't think about what if! as for B12, I was prescribed B12 methylcobalamin (had no idea there were more than one type, thanks Vette for the info), i didn't need it but the clinic suckered me into it! like Vette said, check it and if you're low then take it.
API, love that reunion story!

Thanks Bass (and others) I have come to grips with the fact this is now for life. In the big picture much worse things happen to good people, cancer, stroke on and on and what their lives are in comparision to having to shoot urself a couple times aweek to feel right, big deal as API says, small price to pay.
Felt like I was on an island with all of this til I found this forum, Thank you all, be well!
