Just added AI and HCG question about new protocol

I have been taking 200mg Cyp every week for about the past two years and my levels are around 650. I finely found a clinic that would perscribe AI and HCG . I have been taking .5 AI every other day. Before I started taking the AI my q estrogen has always been high 133 to 230. My last test the doctor tested my estroidal and it was at the high end of normal. Im not sure if estroidal and estrogen are the same thing. before starting the a1 my prostate would ache and throb but the docs would do nothing about. I have been taking 350 iu of HCG two days and the day before I inject. My question is when should I test my estrogen and what test should I use. Also my testicals havn't gone back to the size they were before starting trt and my sack hasn't completely dropped back. Is their something else I should do...

You want the sensitive assay for estradiol, I believe. The standard estrogen measure isn't too meaningful for men. How long have you been on the HCG ? It may take a while to restore your size since you have been without it for about 2 years.

did you have a psa assay? Based on your comment you need to have this checked. How old are you?

Estrogen and Estradiol are essentially one in the same.

350 iu hCG two and one day before your Test injection is fine...seems to be John Crisler's standard.

If you were on 200 mg of Test for two years without hCG there must be significant Testicular atrophy. You didn't say to what extent your testes have shrunken but I'd say at a minimum moderate. Atrophy speed tends to corerlate with age younger guys tends to take longer then older.

Test E2 and all other hormonal panels as well in 6 to 8 weeks.

i don't remember exactly but i started hCG about 5-6 months into TRT, my boys were 1/2 the size, and about 5 months or so doing hCG I'm about 95%. i don't think I'll get to 100%, i wish i started hCG from the beginning.

Just adding my lil bit......to keep E2 down I take Zinc, and Min, in addition to AI. Cheap OTC and see no reason why people shouldn't do that too, since most men over 35 are zinc deficient anyway (Chrysin and Nettle Root Extract can also be looked into) and stop drinking out of plastic water bottles.......I really do think doing that all the time for yrs is why my E2 is high.....bpa is bad....as is beer. Just my .02 addition.

On HCG I wonder if 250 IU every 3rd day may be better than 250 iu Day 5,6 injecting Day 7 as is Crisler protocol.

Assuming since you have been HRT for 2 yrs with no hCG you have atrophy and that is why 350 vs 250 iu as might help a bit more though I think that is debatable (but probably not much of a drawback for your particular case)

I think he is referring to total estrogen vs. E2, in which case the lab ranges are very different - up to 115 is within range (although high), and what the E2 is would be anyone's guess.
