TRT shot. Blood Spurt

I have been on TRT for about 6 months now. I rotate my test cyp shot from both thighs to glute/hip areas. For the first time ever after I pulled the needle out of the side of my right thigh blood squirted out really far and start bleeding down my leg. I rubbed it with an alcohol pad and it stopped pretty quickly. I aspirated before I gave the shot.

Do I have anything to be concerned about or just an anomoly every so often? thx

No, shouldn't be a problem. Once and a while I'll get a run of blood never had a shot though. Keep an eye on the injection sight for swelling and bruising. How big a pin you using?

Happened to me a while back. I searched like crazy about it and the consencus was it happens. When it happened to me, I had a delayed reaction and watched it for a few seconds before I grabbed a tissue. Blood all over the floor. But it stopped right after I put the tissue on it. Now I get ready with a tissue just in case.

Only time I get more than a drop of blood or a squirter is when I forget to change up and use an 18g needle.

Happens, wouldnt worry about it. Seriously, lovbyts have you usede an 18G????????? I shit you not, I screwed up once (dont ask me how) and used an 18G!!!! That will NEVER happen again LOL!

happened to me today. kept the needle in while i was getting the band aid ready. took the needle out and 1/2ml or so came squirting out. not to worry about it.... gangreen is starting to set in, but i still have some feeling in my leg and should be able to do legs tomorrow unless the whole leg goes dead.

Well one of the main reasons I didnt start using when I was young because back in the day all we had was vet grade stuff that came pre packaged and the one time I was going to give it a go it came with a 16G 3in needle so I said NO thanks. LOL

when i was growing up, maybe 8 or 9 years old, my buddies step dad was ex navy. he got to drinking one time and told us that before you are allowed overseas, because the women "over there" are sometimes dirty and with disease, you have to get a shot so you don't get sick. He slowly takes a sip of his bourbon, then proceeds to tell us about this shot. So he says, Yeah, they have to give you this shot. they use this big square needle, and have to give you the shot in your left testicle. both me and my buddies eyes grew wide as pancakes, and right then and there, I swore I'd never join the Navy!!

Yeah, only at age 8 or 9 would that work LOL!!! Dude, I stuck myself with that 18 once (dont ask) thought I was gonna die!! Had a knot for about 3 weeks b4 it went away, didnt think it was! Pain was no big deal, but just getting it in was a choir!
