T4 to T3 conversion
Here is the reason I bring this up. I am currently supplementing with levothyroxin. was at 25 mcg, bumped up to 50 mcg last week. This replaces T4 and depends on conversion to T3 to provide enough t3. I also have been trying to find information from here and other sources so I am educated on the matter but struggling. I also was trying to find my blood work for T3 and T4 initial values, but they are at home somewhere. Initial TSH was 3.15 and 3.26. after 5 weeks of 25 mcg it went up to 4.2 ish.
I keep reading that T3 is a vital component to functions in the testicles and other things related to my low T. I felt better libido in november before i started treatment before the prior several months, and pretty good libido part of de***ber after starting treatment. But the last few weeks my libido has tanked. And before whereas my wife wasn't upset because rather than wanting sex all the time like i should, it was about as often as she wanted it. But loss of libido combined with us wanting to have another kid, is making a frustrating situation.
Do people have any information regarding whether my levothyroxin could actually be causing it because its replacing with just T4? And my doctor is hard to get ahold of and I am sick of talking to receptionists that aren't helpful, I just need to know if I should pursue talking to him about stopping thyroid treatment. Wether it might be a good idea to start HCG , because we have been trying to get pregnant for 5 months roughly, and then start testosterone injections later on, that was the main reason we held off on them was to get pregnant, but the synthroid seems to be making it worse, dunno if it is effecting my load, but it might be, not to mention i just have very little desire ever since after christmas.
Insight would be helpful, and if I need to post up more information I can later on.

Personally I wish I knew the root of the problem, it all seems related but for now i feel like it is all pointing to pituitary problems. Maybe I just need to get off the thyroxine repla***ent, up my calories a lot, train hard but get lots of rest, and see if I can get back to normal ish and do blood tests again and avoid hrt altogether.
