Updated protocol with AI question
I had my 6 week check up today, to discuss my most recent labs.
My prior protocol was simply 120mg T-Cyp/week.
He bumped up my T to 140/week and added Arimidex at .5 the day before shot and .5 two days after.
I have read the conventional wisdom on the forum is to take 1mg A-dex/100mg of T, 12-24 hrs after the shot.
Would I be better served by following the script or by going with the '12-24 hrs after shot' approach?
For Comparison, my Pre TRT Total T was 291. 3 weeks in, it's 448.
Current Free T = 110 (47-244)
Current % T = 2.45 (1.5 - 3.2)
My E-2 is now 41. It was 33.

What day did you get tested in relation to your injection cycle? Sorry cannot answer your question though.

To me your doc seems to favor a pre-emptive strike on the AI. Not saying he's wrong as they have different theories. He doesn't seem to be factoring in the time it takes for the T to reach peak serum values which can be 24-48hrs. Adex's half life is about 72hrs. Your E is not out of control but it will obviously rise with the increased T dosage. I would suggest starting with the lowest dose possible of the AI (.25 x 2). You may be sensitive to it and the less you have to take to achieve optimum results, the better. Start small and check it with follow up BW. Low E isn't fun either, I've been there.

I had my blood test on Friday following a Tuesday shot--a little early to see the bottom, but it was going into the 4 day holiday weekend.
kelkel: the arimidex is soooo tiny, cutting it even to a half size will be a challenge--a quarter would be impossible.
I could take a .5 just once a week, but I won't have bloods again for 2 months. I am definitely having itchy/sensitive nipples, though no pain.
I also can't seem to easily get or maintain wood, which I understand is also a symptom of higher E2.

I wouldn't dream of saying your doc's wrong. My main point is to start low with the AI and to work your way up IF needed. I started high and it crushed my E level down to less than 3. Like Sirupate opined, you have a doc that is writing it for you. Awesome!

Doc is still trying to dial me in, which I appreciate. I am grateful that he will write an AI. Unfortunately, he's a no-go on HCG .
As for ear ringing--I totally forgot to ask (dammit!)

Or you asked and didn't hear the answer due to the ringing in your ears!
