test suspension for HRT?
A friend of mine is on HRT from a clinic here in NC and they are talking about putting him on Test suspension. Is this normal protocal?

No its not proper HRT protocol. I would advice him to seek another clinic because Test Suspension is not wise due to how often it needs injecting to establish stable blood levels.

Don't know what test. suspension is exactly, but most of us use testosterone cypionate and inject once per week. Your friend should be looking for a treatment like that for his TRT.

If I am correct, your friend is taking a non-esterified form of testosterone . Very bad protocol.
When it comes to T therapy you have to consider the risks vs rewards. In this case, T suspension must be injected far more often, maybe even daily. This is far too invasive. If I was even prescribed that drug I would get a new doctor. They simply are not up to par on what they are recommending. Any resource they have access too will advise otherwise. Cypionate and enanthate (outside US mostly) are so clinically tested it's insane to consider something like they are doing.

wow...Thank you everyone. He's on a test gel that he rubs into his skin daily. I will let him know that he should look into a new clinic. I have had them do an eval on me with my wife and they seemed shady to us so I never went back. Thank you again everyone.
