Injection Problem
Did my injection earlier. Aspirated and no blood. Did the injection and pulled the need out and a fair amount of blood followed. Must have nicked a vein I assume?

Thanks. Just odd as I don't usually get a drop of blood. Had it all over my leg before i got a rag to clean it up. Wife was watching and got a little goosey though.

Works most of the time

agree with everyone else.
happens all the time. within a fraction of a second, you'll see if you got a bleeder. if the band aid aint ready, i just press down with a finger for a second and that will stop the bleeding. then bandaid up~!

LOL, happens from time to time. Alcohol pad and a bandaid if needed

IMO, if your new to injecting, your pulse and bp are up a bit before injecting because its new and seems a little crazy. This may make bleeding a little more excessive when you do knick a vein. Still. a very calm person can get a bleeder. Ive been using the airlock method, I just had to wait almost a minute to see where to put the bandaid! Since using the airlock method bleeding is considerably less, if any, not that someone should use the airlock method to avoid bleeding afterwards. Airlock method should be used with caution.

Do you guys really get bleeders that often? I've had a couple in the last year, I usually grab the used alcohol swab and put it on the hole and massage, never more than a couple drops, I always aspirate too and have never pulled blood, sounds weird but I kinda would like to see what it looks like to pull blood into the syringe . I inject sub Q now so the only time I worry about it is when I run deca .

Somewhat of a common occurance, make sure you totally take weight of your leg and relax, dont flex, take your time but yes I had a bleeder once if I would of scooped it up probably would of been enough to donate hahah.
