Should we get our cortisol numbers checked when we go for bloodwork?
It's something I'm just not that clear about. I see the word cortisol thrown around a lot, and this new buzzword "adrenal fatigue" but it doesn't seem like there is any real consensus. Can anyone enlighten me please? Thank you.

From what I know bud Cortisol is the bad hormone. Too much of it can lead to fatigue, anxiety etc. Being Men we have to keep our bodies in an Anabolic state as much as we can and not a Catabolic state. Cortisol goes hand in hand with Catabolic.

Yes you should get Cortisol checked.
Elevated levels can cause secondary (hypogonadotropic) hypogonadism.
Depressed or low cortisol production may suggest Adrenal Fatigue.
The best assay is a 24-hour urine.
