Discontinuing TRT
A buddy of mine told me yesterday that a mutual friend of our said his doctor told him that the US is going to quit making testosterone and that it is going to be hard to be on TRT. Has anybody else heard anything like this? I am calling BS and that the guys doctor really doesn't know anything.

Thats absolutly ridiculus.. Period! There is legitimate medical NEED for the stuff, not to mention the revenue the pharmacutical companies bring in. Not even worth commenting any further.

There would have to be a legal reason, promoted by the FDA, for the pharma industry to walk away from a legally viable revenue source such as testosterone .
have you done your research yet to search the web for corroborating data?

LOL! NSM you are correct in assuming that your friend's doctor is a quack!

Yeah, I wouldn't trust info like that from a guy, that told a guy that supposedly heard if from a doctor.
I heard 90% of your body heat escapes through the top of your head. And going outside with wet hair in the winter will give you a cold/flu.

Well, part of this is true ... The US will still continue to make it, but ALL of it will be sent to Canada, then pipelined to the coast to send to China. With any luck, we will get to buy it back from China.

I assume it would be hard to find out considering the confidenciality agreement between doctor-patient.
Why would a normal(not bb-er) man want people to know that he takes steroids because he produces about the same amount of test as a 10 year old girl ? There are so many doctors that dont know what they are dealing with when it comes to TRT, thus it is obvious what the general public perception would be.

Of course the joke is actually on them for not beeing informed about how to make their lives better. I'm just saying that most people who arent informed on the subject look at it from a crooked perspective.

why?! its prescribed medication and so far everyone i told were interested to know more! i mean i don't go around with a sign on my back that says TRT user! if the opportunity comes up i have no problem talking about it! i think if we talk about it more people will get the other side of the story, not just from the media! but each to his own of course!

There will always be off and on raw material shortages and consolidation of the generic manufacturers making it difficult to obtain from time to time. It's all in the profits boys. But, that being said this treatment is really just in the early stage of acceptance and will continue to evolve in both delivery method and products.

Well at least everybody seems to think that my buddy's doctor is a quack. I don't think it will ever be discontinued. But I do possibly see insurance companies maybe not covering as much once the patient numbers start to rise. I mean if you think about, think how much insurance companies are spending paying part of the prescriptions and then also bloodwork.

not saying it aint cool to help with the kids i did my share willingly....the only thing that makes us right is saying be careful...if u had a tight group of friends and/or family that you could share it with...all good...just dont see the benefit of letting ppl in on it

I used to joke with gym buddies, "it's the steroids , man...". That was 3 years ago, when I was naturally strong and didn't have any symptoms or even know about low T. Now that I'm weak and "need" T, I don't think I'll never joke about that again...
