    HCG and my Test levels

Whats up guys new here just had a quick question. I've been on TRT for about 4 months now and I was thinking about adding HCG . My question is will my test levels be alot higher after adding the HCG as opposed to when I was just getting the test shots? My Dr has made it very well known that he will administer the test but if he finds out that i'm getting it from him and doing more on my own he will not prescribe it anymore. Just dont want him to think that i'm doing something im not. Trying to find out exactly how HCG works. Wondering if it just raises it a little bit or to the point where he will think i'm adding more on my own. My reason for starting the HCG is because my wife and I have been trying to have another baby and while people have said that they have gotten their wife/girlfriend pregnant while on TRT I think its affecting it. I have heard that adding HCG will help with this. My wife knows that I am on TRT but she doesnt know that it could be causing the problems we've had getting pregnant. I dont want to have to stop TRT to get my wife pregnant because I am starting to feel really good on it now. Any help would be appreciated.

i could be wrong and i am sure I'll be corrected! but i believe even if you are on hCG you could stop producing sperm. most of what i read here is you have to stop TRT to get your wife pregnant.

Actually, it is quite possible to get someone pregnant while on TRT with HCG . I had a sperm test done last year. Granted, I didn't have a ton of them that were progressively rapid, but they were there just the same. My FSH level at that time was <.2, so the testicles were only acting on the LH analog provided by my HCG.

There are other treatments, such as HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin), which will mimic both LH and FSH. Having the FSH analog available will offer a much greater opportunity for spermatogenesis in healthy males that are diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism. But, to reiterate, it is quite possible to get someone pregnant on TRT, just not as likely of a chance as compared to an individual producing natural healthy levels of LH & FSH.

Mac, no personal experience with HMG, only what I've read in the journals. The last thing I'm trying to do is to add the FSH analog to my regiment ... No swimmers desired if you catch my drift. HCG , I take 250iu eod/or e3d, just depending on the week. Since you're looking to have children, I suggest getting with an Endocrinologist that can review the possible options, and maybe even HMG.
