Read the sticky at the top of the forum.

Rub the cream into the insides of your forearms immediately after you shower.

    Many many positive benefits!

    Consider DHEA as well...

    No biggie.

Good to see you adding in the Preg...like I mentioned, consider DHEA as well.

Ok just read the sticky and that answered a lot! I didn't realize cortisol was downstream of preg as well. I may be suffering from adrenal fatigue, (doing a rhein's 24 hr urine test 3 weeks from now) but I'm thinking that if so the preg will fill that pathway as well! I bet splitting the 50mg dose up morn/afternoon will help that even more.

Is there any benefit/reason to take DHEA and/or Preg before bed? They tend to make me feel fatigued if I take them in the morning.. kind of like adrenal fatigue feeling. I also found that very low doses are better for me.. around 25mg for Preg and 5 for DHEA. Any higher and I feel like crap.

That's interesting; both Preg and DHEA can act like a mild stimulant and why it's recommended to take in the am and early pm.

You may want to titrate up to the recommended levels to get the benefit.

If what you're taking is in pill form very little of the formula is making it into your bloodstream.

Thanks for the info gdevine. I am taking both as micronized lipid matrix which is supposed to be very bioavailable, bypassing the digestive processes. Will try a small dose of both tomorrow morning

Yeah I've been splitting my 50mg transdermal into a morning (8am) and noon dose. If I go past noon much I can't sleep until 3am! The first day I tried 50mg td at around 1 pm I believe and couldn't sleep till 5 or 6am! After about a week now it's leveling out a bit and I'm sort of doing 60/40 morning / noon to avoid the insomnia. If i added dhea I was thinking a gel. Any recommendations?

Excellent, micronized is the way to go!

Is this a script or OTC?

Gel is the way to go if you can for DHEA.

Titrate up your dosage if you have any anxiety or sleeplessness as you're body will get used to it.

i have found preg very stimulating, it increased my cortisol as well as my T levels, had minimal effect on dhea. I was using 50mg of cream a day for adrenal fatigue and this was too much. WHat i have found so far working for me was to slowly increase my dhea first starting low 10mg and increasing slowly currently on 25mg of oral dhea, i have added just a small pinch of preg cream, maybe less then 5mg and finding it helping with energy but without overstimulating me which is different to using this dose of preg without dhea, which still overstimulated me. DHEA seems to have a balancing effect, but still a work in progress.

    cheers!!!

    Even if taken sublingually?

Sure can, doesn't matter how it gets into your bloodstream, it can still act the same way.

I've seen where some don't even know they've taken it (like me) and others like kel who damn near had anxiety attacks.

That's why titration is important for those sensitive to both.
