    Trt newbie

I decided that I wanted to cycle test as my first time but the more I read about Trt the more I think that may be the way I need to go. Does Trt have the same efficiency and results as cycleing just test.? Thanks.

no, but you can achieve great gains and fat lose if done properly! do you have blood work? if so post all of them with ranges along with your stats.

    hrt is not a 'cycle'

depends what you mean by 'results' , if you mean by improving your life due to symptoms /effects of low testosterone then yes , if you mean you want to use it for bodybuilding then no, unless of course its to help maintain due to low test and you are having trouble holding or gaining mass.

Havent done bw yet. Still in research mode. That might be my next step though. Reading a lot through this section I kept saying to myself "that sounds like me". I'm 34 and trained 20+ years. More cardio the last few. I just feel and look like old and beaten down. I'm not looking to make huge gains but I would like to put alillte muscle on and cut the fat and mostly feel better emotionally/ physically.

yes you can do all that, just look our avi's and you'll see the possibilities. BTW, most of us are on a low dose TRT. blood work is a great start, i know you been reading but just in case, make sure you read KelKel's thread about Finding Physicians in the stickies so you know what blood work you need to do, also I encourage you to read all the stickies so you have knowledge when you go see your doc.

Better choice then a cycle right? Ive been checking out people's avi like 405 and that is exactly how I feel and looked. I'm thinking regis is the way to go. I'm 34 got wife, kids( u know the deal) and all I want is to feel and feel like i did 15 yrs ago. Is it wrong to ask for a doc in my area since this is all legal? If not I'll wait till te apporiate time. Thanks

Oxford covers all scripts except HCG for me. Not my Dr. though as I pay to see a specialist for TRT...

So would you recommend getting bw done before seeing a Trt doc? I would rather insurance pay for all the initial testing is why I ask. The more I read the more I'm sure it's low test.

Nothing wrong with having the insurance pay for your bloods. Just make sure the doc runs all the tests recommended in the stickies. Hope you find a good doc though because too many will just check T range for your age and think you're fine if in that range.

Agree ^^ You just want to make sure you get all the necessary labs to help make the correct decisions. If you get with a doctor that tells you, "E2 isn't needed, and free testosterone isn't needed, and no HCG , ... etc.", then take a step back before just diving in. Something of this nature really needs to be a partnership between you and your doctor, so take advantage of our resources here to help get you familiar with all the variables that are associated with HRT.

That's what I keep asking. I don't want to spend the time and money if I can get a good referral. I live in north jersey, outside of nyc. There has got to be good hrt doc around here .Can I ask for a good hrt doc referral since it is legal or is that subject to pm rules too ? Which is fine I will wait.
