Not feeling well
Guys....
I have been on TRT for 17 days now guys. This is using Testo-Gel 50mg tubes a day and I self medicated myself with test cyp @ 50mg per shot twice a week. So I now feel more anxious then when I started TRT, lightheaded....Just overall a strange but not nice feeling. The only good part is my confidence has gone up a bit.
Why am I feeling like this?
ps.... My E2 levels have not been checked and I am not on an AI.

Need some more info there mate... but if you have just started TRT/HRT you shount be doing jack shit else until your body has stabilized ...
Get off the 100mg a week for the next 2 months till your TRT levels its self out.. thats number 1 ...
then get another blood test and see what your levels are .. what your doing is silly.. how do you know whether you are taking enough gel or not .. ya shit is going to be all over the place..Last edited by Gym_; 02-18-2012 at 03:57 AM.

Thanks Gym
I did my last shot of Cyp 5 days ago.......How long until it is out of my system? I will carry on with the Testo-Gel as prescribed.
I know it was very stupid of me but I read that Gel's are very poor as raising Test levels so I went and self administered Cyp' as read that is used a lot across the States for TRT. I am in the UK and we are a bit behind with TRT compared to the States!

No its doesn't build up your test any quicker .. here is a ex-cert from the sticky at the top of this Thread ..
A note of caution about greatly increasing your T dosage
During the first months of T therapy, many men feel impatient waiting for changes to happen. Some may consider doubling or tripling their dose, thinking that the more they put in, the faster the changes will come. However, dramatically increasing your dose might have the effect of slowing your changes. This is because excess testosterone in your body can be converted into estrogen by an enzyme called "aromatase." This conversion is part of the body's natural feedback system-- if there is an abundance of testosterone in the body, it is converted ("aromatized") to estrogen in order to maintain a "normal" hormonal balance. Therefore, taking very large doses of testosterone might not be a great idea. Be patient; if you are not seeing results in a reasonable period of time, and/or your T levels are low, discuss modifying your dosage with your doctor.
Theres prob going to be some debate about this but 4 to 6 weeks to completely get that test out of your system ...
As far as feeling sick could be quite a few things but from what you have written it sounds like your body is all over the place, hormones are a very big part of your whole life and changing them up can knock you around until your system stabilizes ...'
Ive just started HRT 4 days ago and I'm having some strange ass feeling too ... when you have been deprived of something for so long you have to except some strange things happing ..
Main thing is get off the juice till you have given your body a chance to level out to that of a normal person ..
I'm not saying that this could be the be all and end all of what your feeling but it certainly wouldn't be helping ... keep us up to date with how your feeling and if things get to much worse then defiantly go see a quack and see what he has to say ..

do you have bloodwork before starting this multi purpose protocol? why didnt you post it? why havent your e2 levels been checked/have an AI? do you have another thread about any yourself leading up to your protocol? where did you get the self medicating product? ever used that source before? do you have bloodwork/doctors appointment scheduled to discuss your discomfort?

Gym, brick has multiple posts regarding his own protocol, he has been advised multiple times by different ppl and continues to ignore them unless they say what he wants to hear , tbh ive advised him both in public and via pm im now at a loss myself as how to advise him , best thing to do is read all his posts i guess and see if you can make something sink in

Sorry guys if I have been a pain asking and not letting it all sink in. I suppose I want some kind of miracle cure so I can lead a normal life like taking my daughter shopping without being so anxious. I have done what Pug said in one of his replies and dropped my Cyp that I was self medicating myself on and stick with the Testo-Gel at one tube per day that the doctor prescribed. Nipples have become very sore and a tiny lump has started to form under my right nipple. I do have an AI to hand but it was not prescribed so the Doctor wont know I am on it. My confidence has increased and aggression has lowered which is interesting as I have always been an anxious/aggressive guy.
Once again......Sorry for so many questions and I will try and let stuff let sink in to my drug abused mashed brain!

Brick, if i were you I'd call the doc about the soreness and the lump, and tell him to run e2 test, if he refuses then let him know if you develop a gyno and needs surgery to remove it he's going to be pay for it. i don't understand why some people can't be aggressive with their doctors regarding their health! i guess we tend to forget doctors work for us.

bass , here in the UK its totally different , if brick is aggressive towards his gp /specialist he will be dropped same if he tells them hes taken something else that hasnt been prescribed (they class as self diagnosis /administered) , we cant just window shop for doc like in the U.S , getting to see a specialist take some time and doing.
it goes GP refers to specialist uro /endo , the only way to see a endo faster is to go private which costs alot of money.
brick ive said multiple times before , HRT is not the quick fix you are looking for , yes i think it will help you , but you also have other issues that need to be tackled in other ways aswell (agoraphobic /social anxiety) via cbt etc.
there is no instant cure for what is wrong ,interesting tho since trt i feel alot calmer aswell /less agressive.
personally i think you have just overloaded on test because of you not being patient and doing your own thing perhaps bass or someone can advise a short adex plan while the extra test works out his system? , if he tells his endo what hes done he ****ed up his chances with that one tbh and he knows it.

Bass.....I have read about how the States is changing into our system regarding health care......Its fine for free treatment but you have to wait for months to see anyone and if you have to go to A+E or ER as the States call it you have to wait for hours, sometimes 5+ hours to see a student that has just left med school! By what I have heard we in the UK will be private before to long so the same as you guys.
My right nipple is really sore today, very sensitive to touch and itchy.
As Pug says.....I would be really grateful for any quick AI plan. I have Arimidex 1mg tabs and 50mg Clomid tabs if anyone can help with which one to use and when.
Thanks in advance.

healthcare aint that bad here (well until they **** it up more with the changes they are making now ) , we get treated for free for anything providing there is a diagnosis ( treatment for free , tho they dont waste money on non essentials, docs get paid a fixed salary) ,
whereas in the U.S i get the impression its more of a business model, docs are self employed , the more ppl they see the more money they make ( who cares if they need or dont need x drug or treatment im getting paid anyway ) , tbh i think the U.S model can and is abused when the docs are only in it for the money, in the same vein with the UK model some ppl struggle for treatment of certain illness due to the level of knowledge of the doc they see.
