I do drink a lot of water , and funny u mention the liver cause he said something about "red flag" and then I seen him clear his computer screen and never mentioned it again like it wasn't important ? I think I am going to take the referral for the endo from this habibi Indian schmuck and go my own way to another doctor , ridiculous!

you need to find out whats casing your liver to stress and get it taking care of. if your liver was damaged from previous drinking and food abuse i highly recommend injectable L-Glutathione along with Milk-Thistle. in fact you can start these now. you need prescription for Glutathione, and you can pick up MT from any vitamin store.

In the day, when I used to drink quite a bit of rum, my ALT & AST was in the 80's. My PCP about flipped on me. Like you, I cut out drinking, for me it's been at least 6 years. I've also got an iron condition, which can affect the organs. It's all just speculation at this point ... Keep on course with getting a good doctor to partner up with on this. If your last doctor didn't even review this with you, then I'd have some serious reservation about keeping him on your books.

He mentioned it and disregarded it I remember sitting in his office and him saying something bout the liver and then just kept it moving ever brought it back up , stress anxiety stress doesn't harm your liver right? You meant stress as in roids or alcohol messing it up

Metabolic syndrome. Those who have this diagnosis must have three of five risk factors: increased waist circumference, low "good" cholesterol or HDL, high triglycerides, elevated blood pressure, and elevated blood sugar.

KK,
Saw your AST number and thought it was a typo, then I saw the ALT as well. Obviously reading thru, numbers are accurate. Someone pointed out in a previous post (which I know is correct) that elevated ALT and AST DOES NOT indicate liver damage, it purely implies something is stressing the liver??? Pain releivers? Tylonel (very harsh) alcohol which you deny (I beleive u) over the counter supps, could be many dif things. Liver is one organ that has ability to regenerate itself, thus Bass suggestions. Regardless, this is something that would definetly have my attention and would get retested 3-4 weeks from the last test to see where you are now. If number still high, see specialist and they may want to do liver byiopsy. Knew someone who had this and said it was no big deal.

Ive read stuff like all sorts of junk that people take from GNC for example. Creatine was one that jumps out at me, not saying its not safe but I personally had a kidney function test all jacked up GFR Bun and the ratio dicked up because I was using OTC crreatine. Stopped, everything returned to normal with in 2 weeks, never had an issue since. that was the only thing I was doing different.
