    Low Testostorone

First let me say thank you to all of you that take time out of your day to answer questions.
I am 36 years old, love to run and exercise and eat right. Over the last year I have noticed it is harder to get going. I get sore from the same run I have done 100 times before.Sex desire has gone down, and I just feel sluggish. I did some reading on low Tes and went to the doctor. He did blood work and my Tes level came back at 356. He said this was on the low side of normal and that low Tes was not my problem. I did not agree with him. I took my test at 7am. I decided to get a second opinion. This time my blood work came back with a Tes level of 375. Again,I was told this was a little low.BUT normal for my age. Took this test at 8am.
Now I am looking into raising my levels on my own. I do not want to get huge.I just want my life back.My first run of the year was just awful. My worst time yet.
What I am asking is do you think this is a good idea?? Should I try another Dr.???

Not exactly clear on what you are asking?? 350-375 for a 36 yr old clearly is on the low end but is considered normal, but symptoms you are experiencing may or MAY NOT be from low T, could be a million things. The thing I would ask myself, if you go the TRT route, how will you feel having hormone levels that are optimal?? Only you can find that out as everyone is different and reacts different. Just remember, once you start messing with hormones, be prepared to do it for life. Certainly possible at your younger age to try it and if you do not get the benefits you are looking for then try a "restart", just no guarentees that your baseline levels will return. good luck

Need to see the rest of your blood work especially E2, Free T, Bio Available T, Cortisol, SHBG and Albumin.

For a man your age you are very low and indeed why you present with symptoms.

My Doc would have you on a complete TRT protocol in a heart beat.

Post your blood work with ranges and you will get the feed back you seek.
