Not sure who invented TRT but they sure got a lot of incompetent to follow up on it
I have nothing against steroids , nor steroids users, i been around them all my life in various gyms, they never bothered me because i never paid attention to them anyways.
I did a very brief cycle when i was 28 Test E 500mg-750mg week, deca 400mg and masteron 400mg, we added winstrol V at some point to cut out water and that was it.
I got good gains, lost a lot because after that i went on a diet.
Now at 39 my medical doctor that i was seeing put me on TRT on October 17th, i never had plan to go on steroids again in my life, i actually hated the whole experience back them when i woke up at 3am one night in sweat and my heart wanting to jump out of my chest.
I was put on Testosterone enhantate after a week or so on the gel that i hated. I had gathered information about testosterone therapy that i brought to my medical doctor. I was put on TRT because i was having unusual muscle spams in the traps, and calves and lower back and they where not due to my ligament laxity. I was also put on TRT due to might light anemia.
After being given my protocol i was told 200mg per week i sort of question my medical doctor about the high dosage and the people at the drugstore where i got the delathestryl.
They both told me since i was such a big man 217 pounds that 200mg was it and no AI was needed.
I went back to my medical doctor on February 17th 2012 to confront him with this TRT and more. Without eating more food i went from 217 to 245 a gain of 28 pounds, high blood pressure went true the roof, water retention and more. Feeling very tired, drained.
Before going to see him i lower my dosage to 100mg ( i never told him that but i got a team now that is following me with my TRT protocol and prolotherapy ), so i been given an AI, and a diuretic. So i manage to drop 10 pounds in no time.
I put everything on the table that day and i told my medical doctor that he was incompetent and dangerous in is practice, he told me that here in Canada, Quebec we where the first 15 years ago that staring testosterone therapy for men. I told him to go back to school.
I asked him why i was not started at 80mg per week or 100mg, he turned to me and said well we will do that now..... i told him that our last meeting in De***ber of 2011 he saw that i had gained close to 20 pounds and never wanted to change the dosage, there was water retention then, and i showed him the fat gains, he just stood there and laugh, he said be patient what you will eat will convert to muscle.
The point of this tread might be frustration, lack of knowledge, i feel that most people where cough with a sickness or disease are most of the time left on there own like my back pain, from what i can see in the last 10 years i have seen many like chiropractors, massage therapist, and sooo much more that where all incompetent. It seems to me that all of them want to the the least they can do to help you.
I told my medical doctor that i would not be seeing him again due to is failure to threat my back pain with PRP, prolotherapy and TRT, and that i considered him to be a very dangerous man in is practice, yeah the guy was stunned. But who cares.
It really gets to me reading some of you guys experience and how incompetent the people who follow you are. And i feel that if i want to continue with TRT in the future i will once again have to take maters in my own hands.
I have been told that TRT is more of a question of how you feel week by week, TRT dosage should never go beyond 150mg depending on condition, the new guy i am seeing with this also told me that for me being at 640 to keep my level around 900 would be best, and i would need to see what dosage fits better, he said start at 100mg per 10 days and see how you feel, if 10 days is too long inject at 7 days, and go from there.
I have an AI armidex but did not have to use it since i switch the dosage to 100mg per 10 days, i also lost the water and i feel a lot better.

I really hope that in the near future since TRT is very new that there will be more medical doctor schooled into this therapy. I have found another doctor who is ready to take over my case, he is very old school and believes in injecting once a month 200mg, i decided that i would not go see this guy because its from one extreme to the other.

live and learn Yannik, eh! its a classic mistake many of us make when starting this journey, we think its a magic pill and the more stuff we take the faster we get there. at least you lived through to learn from your mistakes. i hate to say i told you so, but you remember when i said too many things and too much at once will screw up your system, and you won't know whats causing what. i too learned from my mistake, but quickly reacted to it and took the advice i got from here and i am glad i did. by doing that i ended up staying healthy and save tons of money. yes i did a blast here and there, but knew when to stop and get back to my normal TRT protocol. one thing you got to accept in life, even though with TRT you may feel 20 but your body will never physically transform to a 20 year old body, it may look it but old injuries, pains and aches will always be there. we just got to accept the facts and move on from there. the good news is you are learning and accepting reality.

Thanks Bass and yeah the guys on over here are the best there is so far, to think that they know a lot more then a medical doctor is not very conforting to me, in the fact that medical doctor have the diploma but far from having all the knowlege that the guys on here possess.
Bass you check out my huge thread in the injury section and prolotherapy its really that good, that can really fix old injuries 100%, still like you said training will need to be modified and after all why take chances to reinjure ourselves.
Has for TRT i would love to stay on, to get the benefits of the fat loss, bone strenghtening effect, positive effect on the heart, keeping muscle mass has i get older and the over all feel good effect.
But has you said trial and error and TRT is very personal to each and everyone. Diet is also very important and everyone should know this T is not a magic pill, and can make you gain serious fat if you convert too much to estrogen.
I guess that this year will be one of the best so far, if i can lose tones of fat and keep theses 18 inches guns i just got but i guess that would be daydreaming LOL.

Best bet is to find someone who knows about TRT right from the get go.
Too many docs know nothing about TRT. How many times do we see people on a shot ever 2 or 3 weeks?
If you doc starts you out on a 3 week plan then just say, thank you and wrap things up. Don't go back to them for TRT. I would probably do the same thing if I were put on 200mg. That's a very large starting dose.
Sorry this happened to you.

Problem is that they started prescribing TRT to people and never updated there knowledge to the newer technologies. For them has you say injecting once every 2-3 weeks is alright some go has far has once a month.
Until theses medical hamsters update there knowledge in TRT i guess the only sure reference is this great board. I thrust there knowledge over any medical doctor any day

A month ago you had stated you had all this fat to lose. Sounds like you made a significant transformation in just a very short time.
Shows us those "guns" that ya have!

The best thing this board can probably do for a lot of people is get them to realize their doc knows nothing about HRT.
Happens too much. Yet, how many people out there right now are on 3 week injection protocols? Thousands... and they probably just think they have to accept feeling like shit half the time because "that's the best the dr can do."

Not all that significant guys not at all, i lost about an inch on my waist, some water, but the rest is the same, long way to go still, and its not by training 3 times a week with a special rehab program that i am going to get this done, also cardio is walking 30 minutes 2-3 times per day.
I have been strongly advise by the guy that does prolo on me to keep it like this, and back down, i was doing like 4 sets of each 20 reps
Current program
vertical bench press 2 X 20
rubber bend standing close grip 2 X 20
standing lateral raise 1-2 X 15-20
tricep pushdown 2 X 15-20
db curls 2 X 15
leg extension 2 X 20
This is just to get the blood in the muscle and nutrients to the ligaments and tendons, pumping up lots of blood in there, but like i said with test E you still get great pump.
This is me right now, so you see what i am saying.

When everything is fixed and in place, and with the 2 guys i am seeing right now that are treating me, i will get a proper program done afterward, also a proper diet and post some real before and after pics, to see real progress.
Lowering Test E at 100mg per week i guess i should be losing some weight, also i am off deca durabolin while on Methyl D, for this i have to thrust the guy that treats me with prolotherapy he said that its the steroid of choice to put someone back on the map and help with injury.

well, better than now but still way too fat for a guy with your expectations, your about 30% bf in this pic, so you see why i respectfully say fat. the good thing is you are still young, have a nice frame a good posture, you can do amazing transformation with your body, just stick with the basics, which is a proper TRT dose, diet and exercise.
