    NWB Update

    First thanks to everyone on here, GREAT PEOPLE!

    My blood work

    Testostron 207 nd/dl (348-1197)
    Free T 5.7 pg/ml (6.8 - 21.5)
    LH 4.5 miu/ml (1.6 - 8.6)
    Estradiol 17.8 pg/ml (7.6 - 42.6)
    shbg 29.2 nmol/l (16.5 - 55.9)
    Cortisol 19.5 ug/dl (2.3 - 19.4)

    My Therapy

    T = .75 ml per week (150 mg)
    AI, anastrozole = .5 mg day of T and day of HCG injection starting after first 3 weeks of injections
    HCG= .5 units on 1 cc 4/5 days after T

    Fears = making sure the ai is dialed in and T dose is correct. Also doing this for life or feeling like shit for life. The choice has been hard....

    Gave myself the first shot today in the leg. In and out twice before I got the nerve. 3rd time was the charm and can now stop shaking..

    Will post new BW in 4 to 6 weeks.

    Thanks to all

    Shouldnt you wait to add an AI until after your blood work to see where your E2 level is? I plan on waiting. My Estradiol - 9.2 pg/mL (8.0-35). Figure extra T will bring my E2 into the normal range.

    The first quad injection is quite nerve racking. I remember watching the needle go in and thinking UGGGHHH.. It didnt hurt at all though. Leg was sore for 3 days. The most nerve racking part of injections is hitting a vein. I hear the T cough is rough. Always aspirate .

    Personally I would wait. Why put more chemicals in your body if you don't need them? An AI is to lower your estrogen, how do you know if you need to lower it without another BW test?

    Also what is the strength is your Test? .75 ml but how many mg/ml?

    Yes, you are correct but this isn't always followed by some Docs. Most men, not all, will need an AI at some point and I guess the Doc just figures do in now rather than later.

    Try injecting in your glutes...it's the only place I inject IM.

    Do you aspirate when injecting into the glute? I dont mind the quad injection anymore. Guess less chance of hitting a big vein in the glute?

    Testostron 207 nd/dl (348-1197)
    Clinically low.

    Free T 5.7 pg/ml (6.8 - 21.5)
    Clinically low.

    LH 4.5 miu/ml (1.6 - 8.6)
    Hmmmm....mid range; you'd expect to see this lower. Were you diagnosed Primary or Secondary?

    Estradiol 17.8 pg/ml (7.6 - 42.6)
    Tad low...best above 20.

    shbg 29.2 nmol/l (16.5 - 55.9)
    Ok, about where you'd like to see.

    Cortisol 19.5 ug/dl (2.3 - 19.4)
    High. Was this from blood? What time of the day? Could be just anxiety being in the Docs office and getting blood drawn

    for best results checking for Cortisol is am/pm test, am or pm test won't really give you an average, so you really don't know!

    HRT expert Dr Crisler does not like quad injects. He says there are too many ligaments and stuff and over time it can lead to scar tissue. He basically describes it as a much more precarious place to inject. Keep in mind if you are 40 years old you have, on average, another 30-40 years of holes to poke in your body!
