Prolactin levels
HOw many of u have checked your prolactin levels or take supplements ie b6 and zinc, or a med to correct higher levels.

mine was checked as part of my initial bloodwork (its standard in the UK i think when low test is suspected to rule out odemas , acromegaly , cushings etc etc - the list is long on what can cause a high level)

I had mine checked twice last month. Both came back on the higher end of the reference range. I can't find any sources stating what optimal levels should be though, so I don't know if I should be worried about it or not.

i'm with pugster but havent since first starting
seen a few threads over the years pertaining...think i remember hearing taking caber, seg, etc. for prolactin..
how about you doc

I have not checked mine but I will on my next blood draw. I think that it's yield in finding a pathophysiologic cause is low but important. I'm going to have mine checked at my next blood draw.

Last time I checked mine it was 6.7 on scale of 4.0 - 15.2
