Need some help on my AI!
Here's a brief history of whats been going on:
Baseline E2- around 22
started TRT with 100 mg T 1x/week, 250 HCG 2x/week, and 0.5 mg arimidex 2x/week for a total of about 6 weeks.
Bloods showed an E2 sensitive (3-70) at 12 which is too low.
I was told to back off the AI for about 4 weeks. I dropped my dosage to 0.25 mg once a week.
I just got blood work done and my E2 is lower now at 7 (3-70).
I'm switching to HCG mono right now for various reasons. My dose will be 500 IU HCG twice per week.
**What should I do about the AI now? Back off COMPLETELY and retest in 4-5 weeks? Or should I take a very small dosage since this higher HCG dosage can cause more aromatizaiton?
Thanks

I'd take no ai, you might not need it at all.

Get off completely and pay attention to your body for sides. There can/probably will be a spike in Estrogen as your body searches for homeostasis. You may want to get some Nolva to avoid sides. Adding extra HCG will cause more intratesticular aromatase activity. Adding test will too. You just may be a low converter and periodic testing may be in order to evaluate this. You also may need to compound your Adex down to .125mg in the future.
How's your joints, libido? Whats your body fat?

Ever since lowering my E2 dose, my energy has gotten better during the day. Joints are doing okay- no joint pain or anything noticeable going on there. Libido is decent-not as high as I would like it. Only thing is slight ED and lack of morning wood. My current BF is 13%, so I agree that my aromatase activity might not be very high. And it doesnt seem like I will convert to very high E2 levels in such as short period of time such as 4-6 weeks. I can back off completely and retest everything in about 6 weeks. I'm hoping by then, symptoms should improve and e2 levels should be between 20-30 like baseline

A few guys are AI over responders and you may be one of them.
Like you, these guys will get E2 in the single digits and will feel like shit both physically and mentally.
They may also feel a spike of short lived libido as they fall through the E2 level sweet spot when they first start their AI protocol.
These guys need to take really small dose (if at all) like 1/4th or 1/8th of the expected anastrozole dose.
If this is suspected you may want to consider stopping a week then resume at 1/4th the dose.
Can you post your most recent BW with ranges?Last edited by steroid.com 1; 03-26-2012 at 12:42 PM.

My most recent BW was done last week for E2 only. The range was 3-70 from LabCorp for E2 sensitive. My level was at 7.
When I was taking 0.5 mg AI twice a week, my level was at 12. I lowered to 0.25mg once a week and now e2 is at 7.

Personally I would go without for 4-5 weeks then get re-tested. Pretty sure you will get a spike , but nothing that will send you out of range that fast, then go from there.

Would this spike send my E2 levels higher than what I want and stay there? For example, if my E2 is 7 right now and after the spike it went up to 50, would it stay at that level for the 4-6 weeks that i am off of the AI, considering that I may not even need any AI for my dosage and low aromatase activity?

Remember your baseline was 22 so I don't really think you will go through the roof that quick.

Google is your friend; do a search on high and low estrogen levels and symptoms...you will find much!
There's also a thread in here somewhere where I listed both high and low level symptoms...see if you can find that.
