    Traveling overseas

I will be traveling overseas to the Emerald isle shortly for 10 days.I plan to bring 1 vial with just about 2 cc of Test Cypionate , 1 /23g pin , 2/ .5mg Anastrozole,
leaving the Hcg in at home in the fridge.
All meds have a RX number and My full name, and prescribing doctor printed on the bottles.
But i am still nervous, who wants to be possibly detained on their vacation.
Anyone else travel with their meds?
Should i just stick it out for 10 days and not bring anything?

Although it's not overseas, I'm currently in central Mexico at this time, and I've traveled other places with my scripts. Knock on wood, I've NEVER had a bad encounter with customs on my HRT meds. Although, I did get a female inspection officer in Guadalajara pull my Liquid Cialis from AR-R last year and ask me what it was for ... I think I told her something like it kept me vigorous and feeling young, or something like that (try working with that one). They were more inquisitive about an expensive guitar I was traveling with, so that's what actually threw the flag up.

Don't worry about it. Keep everything in their script containers and you'll be fine.

the rules for the transportation of medicines are on most government websites, its best to keep it in the prescribing bottle (with your name on) , accompanied with a letter from your GP stating its yours and what its for , carried separately in a clear plastic case .

thats from memory best to check irelands customs pages , have a good holiday, ireland is a great place and dont forget the guinness

You should be all good but personally I would "pop" before you go. You didnt explain your full protocol but just looking at what you would be bringing, I dont think an extra 3 days is gonna make one bit of difference. All depends on how you feel, personally I feel the same on day 2 as I do on day 7, in my case it would prob be a couple full weeks befor eI was feeling run down. As posted above, who wants the hassle!

Exactly. When I travel overseas for 10 days or greater I just front load some extra Cyp and deal with it. The AI & other oral meds go with me in the CVS Script Bottles. You never can tell who you'll get at customs who's just looking for an excuse to scrutinize you. That counts for coming home too! I've had more trouble getting back into the U.S. sometimes than at any foreign point of entry. For domestic travel, I take everything except HCG . I put the meds in my carry-on and the pins in my checked luggage.

The rules are very lax on traveling with syringes/meds since diabetics have to do it all the time.

I would say that the TSA is one of the strictest organizations out there and they say:

"All medications in any form or type (for instance, pills, injectables, or homeopathic) and associated supplies (syringes, Sharps disposal container, pre-loaded syringes, jet injectors, pens, infusers, etc.) are allowed through the security checkpoint once they have been screened. Atropens, an auto-injection system that can help treat many emergency conditions (low heart rate, breathing problems, and excess saliva related to insecticide, nerve gas or mushroom poisoning) are also allowed.

We do not require that your medications be labeled."

lol taking any form of medication unlabled to another country is just asking for the glove treatment (tho i guess you could ask them to check prostrate while they at it) , steriods are a controlled drug within the UK.
chances are you wont get asked anything or even stopped, why take a chance when you have a valid reason to carry it and can provide proof , guidlines are pretty much what i said >

Well the plan was to leave it in my checked baggage,i was not planning on bringing anything back to the US.
The suggestion to front load some test before i go is sounding better, the thought of lifting my sack for a cavity search is changing my mind lol!
Anyways im not all that worried, i just dont want the hassle if i get stopped.

Have flown out of the country with HRT. Packed everything in my checked bag and only took enough for the trip. Had no problem. Everything was in the original prescription packaging.

Went to Jamaica with my script and syringes in a clear zip lock bag on top of my carry on. No questions asked and they really go through your bags coming back from Jamaica looking fo the ganja(LOL) I don't think I would want to put my script in the checked luggage because of theft.

I do it all the time but I also asked my doctor for a travel note and he writes me a letter stating what it is, what it's for and it's ok for me to carry syringes also. Ive never had it questioned. I would NEVER put an prescriptions in my check in, I keep them in my backpack carry on right on top in pain sight all together nice and neat.
