Crashing after 5 weeks on testogel
It kicked in on week two felt great for 3 weeks, now on week 5 it's day 3 of feeling like crap again.
My specialist isn't even answering my e-mails, Where do I go from here?
Thank's for your help!

You really need bloodwork to know if you are indeed "crashing". The emotional effect of getting on TRT changes some weeks after you get on...has happened to me. In fact, whenever my dose was increased, I felt great for a while, then thought I was crashing. Bloodwork indicated otherwise. It has to do with dopamine in the brain and its effect on your sense of well-being.
It could be that you need more gel, or perhaps you are just used to how TRT feels now and perceive this as a "crash". Only bloodwork will tell the story. Keep on your routine and get bloodwork done when your doctor indicates. Note that if you are really curious and your doctor won't order bloodwork, you can get that done on your own.

agree with sirup...yes bloodwork needed to confirm but your prolly using insurance and need rx from the guy ignoring your correspondences...maybe call for appointment...i made a sooner appointment when i was first starting and still on gel...the wanted to do blood in a few months but i made an appointment sooner...i took charge in my health care i didnt wait for them to tell me when and where...i fired that endo went to a second got on shots...ended up firing that one but was able to continue the script since it was already in place...through my gp...
in other words dont just email and wait..use the phone, make an appointment...get bloodwork on your own if you have to...be willing to find a new doctor if needed...might surprise them when another doc's office is calling them asking them to fax your file over to them

Another thing I failed to mention was I missed 3 days applying the gel every second day last week, would this be serious?

Also now I'm feeling like shit again as I have done for years I'd just like to add how people frown upon you for feeling like shit / looking like shit and not being able to smile even though its through no fault of your own..not really trt related jus wanted to throw that out there

Edmundo, Same thing happened to me. A couple of weeks in on 4 pumps of Agel my numbers were lower than when I started. Doc upped me to 8 pumps and my numbers went up a little higher and he said that I was good, I was not GOOD. I then went to a urologist that took me off the Agel and put me on Testim and that took me down to the 60's of total T He then put me on T injections and wanted to inject every three week. So I let him give me the first shot and then went to a T clinic to be put on the right protocal(test injections, AI,HCG ) I had to pay out of pocket, but it was worth it. With that said it took months, mutiple blood draws, paticence, and help from the members of this site to get dialed in. One other thing, get copies of all your labs for your records, it helps to have them if and when you change doctors.

Having all my labs for the past two years made the last doctor switch so easy. The doc looked at the labs that were done before I went on TRT all the way through the dialing in period. Doc said everything was good, wrote my scripts with 3 refills, wanted labs in 3 months, and then every 6 months.

I don't think this specialist as a clue, told him I'm back to feeling like crap again, He said if it's not working simply discontinue it like take it or leave it, I explained to him it's not as simple as just applying testogel everyday and expect everything to be fine, he said he would check my e-mails and get back to me, cocksucker, think this guy might just be getting paid to hand out perscription's.

This is the e-mail I got back from the guy
Ed, I have come to the end of my tether with you I’m afraid. After six weeks and countless hours of my time e-mailing you and trying to help and support you, you still come back with spurious objections largely gleaned from ill-informed bloggers. And now you are phoning me!
This has become very unpleasant. Clearly I’m not getting through to you. I wish to now disengage from any further dealings with you. Tank you and good luck.
Andrew Rynne.
Seriously WTF??

Here was my response
I apologise if I have upset you but I find your response to be quite dramatic and not really called for, the only reason that I phoned is that you didn't respond to my e-mails after a week, I rang your secretary to see if you were on holiday and asked if I could get in touch with you, she said It was fine to contact you directly otherwise I would never have called.
The endocrinologist here in Sligo explained to me that if I started TRT It would work for a few weeks and I would feel better but then my testes would receive the signal to shut down my natural testosterone and I would simply go back to where I was before TRT, this is medical fact and is exactly what as happened, I'm simply looking into supplementing TRT with HCG to prevent this from happening.
Putting someone on TRT is no small thing as it is for life, it's also something that need's to be monitored and adjusted until it's correct which Is why I asked if I should be doing this with a GP here in Sligo.
All I'm trying to do here is get the treatment nailed down right the first time.

And heres what I'm thinking of sending him
You can't simply cut out contact with a patient that you have prescribed treatment for that is for life for no reason other then you were upset by the inconvience of a phone call, if you choose to do so I will gladly report you to the royal college of surgeons for accepting payment for a consultation that never took place and prescribing testosterone repla***ent therapy to someone you have never even met.
