    HCG Mono Question

I recently stopped T+HCG +AI. I've just started HCG mono at 500 IU twice a week. Before starting, I got an E2 sensitive result of 7 (3-70). I was told this is too low, and that I should stop the AI completely while on the HCG mono and then retest in 4-5 weeks. I was also told about a possible E2 spike that could occur when beginning the hcg with no ai. It's been a week of HCG mono, and I do feel more "down" than usual and a bit emotional. Im not sure if this is due to a elevated e2 level. I want to know if there is a conservative dosage of AI (maybe 0.25mg twice a week) that could help ensure that my e2 does not get out of control in these 4 weeks. I would then get bloods in 4 weeks and then adjust from there if necessary. Whats a typical AI dose for hcg at my dosage?

    Thanks

Most guys that take your dose don't need an AI. If your e2 was 7 you should be ok for now. I would stick with your dose and leave the AI out of the equation and get blood work in 6 weeks to see where you are at. Are you primary or secondary?

I know a guy who experimented with up to 8000iu per week. He found that he could do up to 600iu x2 a week with no need for an AI and his levels were around 800. So you should be ok with your dose.

Agree, stay off the AI until you take your next set of labs. You may experience some estro rebound, so it wouldn't hurt to keep some Nolva on hand just in case the receptors get sensitive in the nipple area. I've been through it, as have a few others here. Usually, it takes a little time to get the E2 back up to a normal level. Everyone is different, but in your case, based on your HCG protocol, it wouldn't surprise me if your in the mid to high teens in 4 to 5 weeks with no AI. Again, just based on personal experience and what I've seen with other guys, but you might be completely different. Keep us posted.

thank you all for the advice on this. Im kind of new to these forums, so I wanted to ask..if I were to get my labs in a month and wanted to put them on this thread right here for u guys to see, would you guys still be able to see my new posting on the list of threads? Or will I be better off creating a new thread so that it is more recent on the list and thus, easily visible on the TRT forum?

Also, since I have just switched from 100 mg Test cyp/week and 250 iu hcg 2x to just 500 iu hcg twice a week, do you think there will be a rough transition period as the Test cyp is clearing out of my system? If so, how long would it take to get things going at optimal T levels again?

Post your new info on this thread and it will bump it up to the top. No need for two threads. Maybe I missed it, but why are you stopping the Test therapy? What level were you at when you started? Yes, I think it may be a rough transition. It all depends on how responsive your system is to the hcg therapy. Hopefully it works for you! No clue how long it may take to get to optimal levels, if at all, assuming you weren't at optimal levels when you started.....

    Keep us posted.

Originally switched to Test cyp to see if I could feel better with the exogenous test. After doing Cyp for 2 months, I realized that I still feel the same way I did when I did HCG mono with the same T levels. In both types of therapies, my T levels were at around 1100 ng/dl. I was able to respond very well to HCG when I took it before as a monotherapy. So I know I respond well to HCG. Now the only issue is dialing in my E2.

honestly, 1 week is not enough time to gauge anything. maybe 2 weeks, but really you should give any of these changes 4 weeks to take effect.
