HCG Fragility
Some time ago we had a good discussion here on the fragility of HCG . We all take very good care of our HCG and know to keep it refrigerated when reconstituted and not to shake the vial and so on...
But there has been some speculation as to whether or not it might be just lure and the HCG molecule not as fragile as we once believed.
I posed this question to my Physician who I consider one of the best in the field of TRT medicine and here is his response:
HCG ia a delicate protein like hGH. Some common sense consideration is required. Like not exposing these protein structures to heat. Because like an egg the portein will denature and turn white.
That being said, I feel that HCG, and hGH can be mixed gently (don't shake it but roll it) and it can be placed in a cool area. Your shaving kit (temprarity) or a refrigerator would be appropriate.
When these proteins denature, they will become cloudy. Injecting the denatured protein will not be functional hormones. No harm would result though.
I hope this helps.
take care,
DRRG

In my profession I've found that doctors are not that knowledgeable when it comes to technical aspects of finished dosage drugs. The one to verify this data would be the manufacturer & I have yet to see this listed in any of the product inserts/pamphlets thus far. Do I believe it's a fragile molecule? Yes, but not as much as it’s been proclaimed on this forum. The manufacturers would be stating such fragility in “bold” if it were a possible occurrence in the product. Just my $0.02...

Having worked with such a protein I can tell you it is not overly fragile, but requires some care.
It simply possess the properties of any protein solution.
You can shake it, but it will foam if you do. Eventually if you shake it enough it will precipitate from solution, especially if it gets warm during the shaking process.
However, HCG solutions are robust enough to be shipped without ice (although that probably shortens their shelf life).
I suppose a good analogy would be milk. Treat your HCG like a small vial of milk: don't overly shake it and keep it refrigerated between uses.

For awhile here, I was reading these posts about the detriment of even storing it in the door of the fridge. Mine has always been in the butter compartment of my door and I've never had any issues with it. I like ecd's analogy on the matter. I basically handle milk the same way, just pull it out, use it without making any spastic or aggressive moves, then put it back in.

^^^Those spastic moves sometimes just come out of nowhere! I hate that.
