High test results after surgery, been mising shots though
Currently injecting 200mg per week. Nothing else being used at this time in terms of HRT stuff. I am on other meds post surgery I will explain below.
Here's the timeline: 200 mg on 3/11/2012
Broke my ankle on 3/18 (one week later).
Had surgery on 3/21/2012
Finally took 200mg on 3/28 (nearly 2.5 weeks late)
Went in on 4/2 for 6 month checkup. I typcially run test at 600-750 and e2 30-40 , free test was at 227 last time and I usually am tested 1 week after a shot. My e2 si borderline high and I have higher BF than I should at 18%
The results show my e2 is at 38. But my test was at 1370 and free test at 468??
A couple other things. I was on blood thinners for two weeks, a daily injection
I was on pain meds but was off them for several days before I was tested (nucynta)
I am not active at all,, basically laying around all day. No working out.
Does all this make sense or does this sound like a bad blood test? I understand it is possible maybe my test has been high for sometime but I workout a lot and I certainly dont have the strength or mass to show for it. Before my shot I def had symptoms of low T. I was just skipping the shot because of all the other drugs. I've always wondered if inactivity will not bind to the test right. The free test is much higher than usual.
Let me know your thoughts, lots of drugs going on here but they arent supposed to affect eachother.

it sounds like there was a LOT going on.
frankly, I wouldn't worry about the numbers at this point. I would focus on getting back to feeling good, healing the injury, and sticking to a set protocol so you can make smart changes if need be in the future.
200mg is a rather high dose and many people only need half that to achieve good test numbers. it's a trial and error therapy, not a 1 size fits all by any means.

Agreed, it sounds pretty normal for someone taking 200mg or at least it looks like your system is using it well and the E2 is not bad at all. I would be more than happy with those levels if it were me.
Pain killer wont effect your test levels, I should know...

i agree as well. you drew blood 5 days after injection, so you were kind of at your peak, so your numbers are normal. if you want to manage your e2 try to lower your dose or split to two shots a week.

Are you saying that you normally run 700 using 200 mg per week?
If so, some docs refer to you as a rapid excretor of test and with the surgery and other drugs, plus as bass mentioned the timing difference, the higher results may not be so unexpected.

Yes, normally I am in the 700s 1 week after shot, and being consistent with the timing. I wonder if the blood thinner injections I was on screwed up the lab test?
Do you guys peak that high on 200 mg? Should I back off a bit? I plan to start an AI but I know its beause my BF is a bit higher than it should be.
