Shrinkage

I am currently on 100mgs once a week of test cyp.I have experienced some slight shrinkage.My question is it seems like my boys are a little more high and tight to my body and maybe a little smaller after my injection and as the week goes on they seem to drop and feel and look bigger.Is it my imagination or is this possible?If you need more history see my first thread new to hrt and need some help.

Time to spend some time here reading it look like.

It's completely normal but you may still want to learn more about it and what you can do about it or if you should do anything. Just start searching and reading.

Thanks for the reply.I have done a lot of reading and found that shrinkage is normal.I just have never seen it described the way I have it being kind of a cycle .Shrink recover shrink recover.Right now I can tolerant the shrinkage and the very slight discomfort .I have read about hcg and AI 's just wanted to clarify my situation .I am having blood work done this weekend and suspect my dose will increase slightly .If I go to a smaller dose twice a week instead of once a week at a higher dose will this smooth things out and keep my balls at a constant or will I have a mini cycle so to speak?

Take 2 shots of hcg 2x a week and call me in the morning...

I had the exact same experience as well. I do HCG 2x a week 250iu Thurs, Sat and Test injection on Sunday. The boys are back to normal.

^^^^^, this is the only way I am knowledgeable of. Will solve your problem and prevent further atrophy.

Yep 250iu twice a week for me as well when i can get it.

Thanks guys.So there can be further atrophy?Kinda thought this might be the worst it will get.I'm not to hot on the idea of another injectable drug to add to the mix.Plus this is all out of pocket because my insurance won't cover the drugs .And I'm not sure my doc will even prescribe other meds .I guess this is kind of a crossroads.Do I continue with this or throw in the towel .I really haven't got dialed in all the way yet with my levels.This is frustrating .

Yes I hate to tell you it could get worse..

Oldhigh try not to make yourself crazy with all of this.Just remember some guys never use hcg or start using it years later!The first time i used it was 8 months after starting trt.I also don't have a script so I pay out of pocket and just use hcg on and off.

Get worse, YES, Much worse potenially. I didnt use it eithe rmy first 6 months, poor guidence. Been using it the fast 9 months, everything returned to normal size. I too, like many pay all out of pocket. You may be at a crossroads, remember this is a life long deal. In regards to adding another injectable, this is sub Q really not a big deal.

You need to understand the mechanisms of HPTA suppression with exogenous testosterone .

Sub Q I could probably deal with.I might be able to get a script from my doc.She has worked with me so far.As far As cost I know its not allowed to discuss so can anyone pm me with an idea of what it costs out of pocket?I am in the western burbs of Chicago .Bullshark I think you are in my area.I will read the stickies again gdevine.I have only been doing this since last September so I am not in it very long but I have been thru the patch and a few dose changes and am still not where I need to be.I am trying to be patient and trying to do this the right way so I can reap the full benefits of this therapy.Thanks again guys for your input from all of your experiences.

So re read the HCG stickie .I have read elsewhere that mono therapy on HCG alone tends to stop working over time so my question is if you use HCG along with test will you use it forever like you will test?Do you have to cycle it for it to keep working?

yes unless you don't care about your boys disappearing and other benefits hCG has! i always believed a complete TRT protocol at a minimum is,

Thanks.Any need to cycle HCG ?It looks like I may need an AI also.My E was 43 last blood work.I was on 200mgs every 2 weeks .I am having blood work done this weekend after 4 weeks on 100 mgs a week.Looking forward to see where I am.

most of us do hCG continuously, but some do cycle it! for me if i stop for 2 weeks i see a difference. everyone is deferent.

not really because i haven't cycled it. but from what i have read its like 3 months on 3 months off, or 3 months on and stop until testicular atrophy occur then start again.

Thanks again.I will post my blood work results in a couple of weeks.When the doc calls me I plan on talking to her about HCG and An AI .I will post how that conversation goes as well.This board has been very educational and I thank all of you knowledge people out there for all of your input and insight from your experiences .

Bass, I didn't look into this yet but the cycling of HCG would leave me in pain! has there been any recent talk about this? I start to feel the boys complaining even towards the end of a 5000 iu vial..
