28 years old 296 test level

I just got my blood work back and it was at 296 about 2 years ago it was at 460. I have no sex drive and no motivation at all. I haven't cycled in almost a year wih propr pct and I don't plan on cycling ever again. My last option was going on TRT, but I'm almost out of options. My issue is def my age and that I want to be able to have children.

Problems with my gf are their since we have no sex life and i don't want to do anything anymore. I've also been lazy with going to the gym or doing cardio and now my bf is starting to rise a bit.

Can anyone help me. Not sure what to do From here. TRT? No trt? Don't want to affect having children but I def need my sex drive and motivation back.

    Thank you

I have the same issue, lack of sex drive and motivation. Have to force myself to go to the gym, cardio is a thing of the past. I would say HRT but your Doc would be able to tell you best with the Children thing. Luckily i had enough motivation to knock up my wife, im hopefully going on HRT after my daughter is born in July. Hope it works out for you.

One of the very few contraindications to starting testosterone repla***ent is wanting to have children within the next year.

There are other options, however. Look into:
clomid therapy, and to a lesser extent tamoxifen
    aromatase inhibitor therapy
    and finally HCG monotherapy

These are all very viable options. Clomid therapy would be the easiest and probably less prone to side effects. Although some people get emotional problems/moodiness. This could be due to too high of a dose often times.

I always like to recommend the book Testosterone for Life for newbies. Easy to read and covers all the bases and it's from a respected MD.

Op, my test was at 187. I'm in a similar boat in terms of wanting kids with my wife. My doc put me on tamoxifen (nolvadex ) and as of last week my test was 550. My libido increased and I feel much better. It's a short term solution but a very effective one to use as a stop-gap until Trt.
