    Bloodwork results.

So, I got my bloodwork back this morning. I would of posted the bloodwork results so everyone can see the numbers, but the doc was very busy and read me the results off the computer. My total test numbers were 220. The first thing out of her mouth was TRT. I did not get the lab work back for thyroid and i think they ordered a test for probolon. (spelling) What is the range of the scale? I have heard 250-800, is that right? If TRT was in order, what number would a doc like me to be at? A close friend of mine was prescribed TRT and his doc has him sitting at 1000. I am new to this whole thing and want to know what i should expect in the upcoming visits. Any info is appreciated.

Current Test range is 348 - 1197. You really need to get a copy of your bloodwork and post it with ranges. At that time also post your stats including height, weight, body fat percentage. Call the doc's office and ask one of the nurses to fax it to you. It's yours, you paid for it. Or, call the lab and see if they will get it to you asap. Yes, that number is low but we need to see more than that to give you an educated opinion.

In the meantime, read all the stickies at the top of the forum as there is a lot of great info there that can/will help you get started. TRT is for life and not something to just jump into. There are some alternative therapies you can try first to see if you can get your levels up to a more normal level. Do you have a history of AAS or pro-hormone usage?

Welcome to the forum and we hope you stick around!

Agree with Kel; okay, so you're Total Testosterone is low....why?

Did she say if you were primary or secondary?

You need to know why you are low; if age related than anything above 600 Total and 2.5% Free would be ideal...but you need to have balance across all hormone levels as it's not just Testosterone.

Post your work with a complete history on yourself and you will get excellent feedback.

Like Kel said, read the Stickies especially the one for New Members it will help you a great deal.

    Welcome to the community!

I only got to tell him my total test level, he had the same questions you guys did, he wanted to know what the rest of the bloodwork said. I am trying to get this bloodwork, you guys will prolly decipher it better than the doc did. Thanks again for the replies.
