A couple of blood work questions...

Got my bloods done and the results back...

The main questions I had were in relation to testosterone (obviously).

    RESULTS:
    Testosterone: 28 nmol/l - 806 ng/dl
    SHBG 55 nmol/L
    Free Testosterone: 0.5 nmol/L - 14.41 ng/dl

    Are my conversions correct?
Based on what I have read from the forums I have extremely high SHBG. Correct?
How have people found Nettle Root Extract? Effective in reducing SHBG?
Any other ways to reduce SHBG naturally?

I have other vitamin levels etc if you need more info.

Was pretty happy with test levels but SHBG is cramping my style. I am currently natty.

    Cheers

Yes, your SHBG is high, and it's definitely binding up your free testosterone .

Nettle root can help lower this, but it would be nice to see all of your labs, and to know your stats. It's hard to just grab on variable and make the adjustment without knowing if other factors also need addressed.

And yes, your conversions are correct ...

Thanks for the reply. Currently tied up at work. I will scan and post all results that I have when I get home. Some of it might be useful, some might not. Is there anything in particular you require? Doctor said everything was "Normal", hes a doctor, but does not specialize in 'bodybuilders' or athletes.

    Stats:

    Age:21
    Height: 5'8
Weight: 154lbs (cut down fro 170 in the last 10 weeks)
    Body Fat %: Around 11-12

Been lifting for around a year.

    Anything else?

Thanks for posting your stats ...

Presuming you're on a TRT regiment? If so, can you tell us a little bit about your protocol?

Also, being only 21, do you mind sharing a few details about your diagnosis? Hopefully no tumors or major issues with the testes. It's hard to imagine going through all of this at such a young age.

Nettle root, avenacosides. Add vit D as most are low and it will help lower your shbg also.
